Fantastic property, great location

We had a great stay at Watercolors, wonderful location with private entry to beach. Rooms were great. Lots of amenities. Golf carts were great. Was able to get access to the BHI club for restaurants, golf, pickleballs and pool time. We had a outstanding stay.

Nice place

Nice older home some updating needed appliances need some TLC. Cookware and bakeware needs to be replaced. Master shower is nice grill is ok hot tub too small for adults and for the size of the home. Overall nice Will try someplace newer next time.

Great BHI rental for a family with kids

We just went for the weekend, myself, husband and 4 kids 7 and under. We decided at the last minute to go, and the rental agency was very accommodating. The house was very clean, well stocked, had lots of dishes, glasses, etc that sometimes are skimpy in rental homes. The view was amazing, and we loved sitting in the hot tub looking at the ocean. We also really enjoyed the old VHS tapes for the kids to watch movies up in the loft, and the game closet to keep us busy during the rain. We will definitely return to this house!

Everything was perfect...the house is beautifully decorated and everything is top of the line...from furniture to appliances and more. Very clean and everything works. Golf carts phenomenal. Hot tub an added plus. And, the location can't be beat---directly on the beach with your own private beach access. Can't say enough - it was PERFECT. We highly recommend and would rent here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful, relaxing, peaceful, perfect.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet, peaceful spot to spend some time away with our two children. Watercolor on BHI was exactly what we where looking for! Only saw six people on the beach our entire stay. When people say you have the beach to yourself, they mean it. It truly was the most relaxing spot we have ever been to. The accommodations were perfect. Direct private beach access. The porch on this house is a wonderful place to sit, eat or just relax and listen to the ocean. Inside has everything a family or any group may need. Perfect bedrooms, wonderful living space, and we just loved the kitchen. There were bikes and carts for exploring the island. We will definitely be back.

It was the perfect home away from home with a wonderfully stocked kitchen equipped with just about everything a chef would need to prepare a fabulous meal. The oceanfront, outdoor areas were also a wonderful place to sit and relax while listening to the waves crash on the shore. The house was very clean and conveniently located to everything on the island. I would highly recommend this house, the owners, and the rental company as they were all willing to work with us to create a special birthday surprise weekend! We would definitely stay here again.

We were given clear information along the way to help us get to the island and check in. The house had everything needed for a great beach stay including a massive book and DVD collection, a closet full of puzzles and games, and all beach needs. Kitchen had all you needed as well if you wanted to stay in and cook. Island has plenty to eat too for those nights you want to get out. We only ran into one prob with hot water and WWP was out there in a flash and helped us out. The main question to be asked is would we stay again and the answer is definitely!

This was our third summer staying at Watercolor and once again, it did not disappoint. The location on the island and ease of getting to the beach cannot be beat (especially with a few young children where back and forth trips are a given). The house is well stocked with amenities and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need if you’re cooking while on the island. Thank you for sharing you beautiful home with us!

Stay at Watercolor

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Started rough. Upon arrival, my husband and sons hopped in the golf cart to head to the market for basic supplies. Halfway back, the cart went dead and my husband and son had to push the cart home home as the other son steered. (This was in the rain.) The cart had not been plugged in fully/long enough, as we had no problems with it the remainder of the week. There were bugs in the first floor bath tub when we arrived and more in the kitchen. A fellow just showed up to the door to work on the HVAC one morning. He was there for two hours. No one called us to tell us he was coming. We called the office to make sure it was someone who had been authorized by the homeowners to come. Finally, the chain, in the tank , came loose on the downstairs toilet, my husband fixed that.
