Sweet Stay
Our stay was awesome and peaceful - there was a small issue that was discussed with property management. There are a couple of amenities that would just make this property outstanding…golf cart upgrade, fishing poles, and more than one ladies bike.

Comfortable
Overall this was nice comfortable house. It was updated and had everything we needed. The twin bed was perfect for my 100 year old mom. My reason for giving it 4 stars overall was the golf cart. We had to put the shades down and they were ripped which made it unpleasant to ride on.

Thank you for the feedback. We do not guarantee curtains on carts as they are easily lost/broken and they are custom made for replacement. We will look and see how we can make the golf cart ride more comfortable and address these as needed.

Great Stay!
The property was great and accurately listed. A bit of a drive from most restaurants and the grocery store (10-15 minutes) but as long as you don’t mind that, the area is incredibly quiet and easy to access. We will 100% re-book this property if it’s available for our next trip.

Woods Weekend Stay
We like our townhouse! Once we learned the roads around the island, it was easy to get around. A few things about the house. The AC system on the first floor was very difficult to use. It was freezing and the temperature could not be regulated. Also, the coffee maker leaked and would soak the counter and anything on the counter. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Great location away from busy part of island. Upstairs bedroom is little small as is the bathroom. Washer and dryer are VERY loud. Very clean and good location but probably won’t return as we like a little more space.

Great getaway at Mahi Mahi!
Loved the house, well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Great location, quiet with lots of trees surrounding the neighborhood. For us, going during the off season makes it so much more relaxing. We spent our days riding in the extra-long golf cart with our pups exploring the island. We really enjoyed our time there and appreciate the hospitality! Highly recommended and thanks!!

Overall we were very satisfied with this property. We were only the island for two nights this time, and we arrived very late on the first day (and left early after the second night), so we really did not spend much time at the property. Generally speaking, everything was in good order (fridge, washer, dryer, coffee maker, golf cart, bikes in the garage). This is one of the more economic options available on the island, so along with that we were not surprised that the bedrooms were on the small side. There were a few minor issues (if you can even call them that)--such as the zipper not working on the weather enclosure on the driver's side of the golf cart, the handtowel bar being broken in one of the bathrooms, etc.--but these are fairly typical of vacation rentals. Based on the prompt communication I had with the property managers prior to my arrival, I was confident that they were either (A) already aware of the issue(s) and working towards an improvement, or (B) would have addressed the issue(s) promptly had I made them aware. All that being said, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful place
Wow. This house was amazing, my husband and I celebrated our anniversary this weekend and attended a wedding at the Shoal’s Club. It was in a great location and everything about the listing was spot on. We enjoyed hanging out on the patio and exploring the island on the golf cart! We will be back!

Fabulous Bald Head House
What a wonderful house, the new furnishing and decor are beautiful! Very clean and everything was exactly as described. Great neighborhood for walks and close to Shoals Club. Rent this house, you will love it!

19 Keepers Landing was a treat, such a cute house. Met all of our needs, rooms were great! Beds were cozy and was very clean upon arrival. I do think the golf cart could use a bit of a tune up but overall, a great experience!!! Loved it

Good Location, In Need of TLC
The house overall was a wonderful location for what we wanted (close to shoal's club) and in a quiet neighborhood. There was plenty of room for everyone in our party + some. However, many of the amenities that were listed and offered were either unreliable or unusable, and there were holes in need of patching in certain areas of the home. For example, the cart's battery needed repair and wasn't charging, the bikes provided had seats that weren't functional, the coffee pot was broken and the provided sunshade for the beach also was broken and unusable. There was also an issue with bugs (roaches specifically) but that can sometimes be unavoidable on the island. Be mindful as you book, it's a trek to the marina and back but we didn't need to go that way very often so it worked well for our group. Also, when having issues with the cart - BHI services was very prompt with sending help out. Would likely not stay again unless these issues were updated.

We are disappointed to see this review. There were small holes in the bathroom downstairs where a towel bar had fallen which we have repaired. The golf cart was charging perfectly fine according to the cart mechanic and we have had renters before and after your stay with no issues. We also looked at the coffee maker and you had never turned on the power button on the side to get it to turn on. This is a brand new coffee maker which was just purchased less than a month ago. We looked over the bikes and there was one loose seat that a simple tool was able to tighten. Aside from that the others are working as they should. We would have been happy to assist with this had we had known during your stay. The home is on a monthly pest control program with no abnormal issues reported by pest control or other guests. We were quick to respond to any issues during your stay and happy to find that most of this was user error.

Very nice stay. Don't have anything to complain about as it was as described. The only thing we would change is the location as it is pretty far away from items that were of interest to us, but that is kind of nice too as it was a nice, quiet area. Would definitely stay again!

We arrived at the start of a winter storm--no tram service The agency left a cart for us, so we eventually made it in the rain/snow. Our bad luck. House was fine when we figured everything out--never had to drain water from a dryer before The garage door is a "bounce-up" problem--comes down, hits the bottom, bounces up again. We were able to control it by hand control, but it is a problem. When we arrived, the garage door was up with snow blowing in

Great!
Wonderful spot in Keeper’s Landing. Close to Shoals, east beach and a short golf cart ride to the market. We have such a great time coming to BHI and this quickly has become our new favorite neighborhood in the island. The house was the perfect size for what we needed and is bright and clean. Always a memorable trip - especially getting engaged midway through our stay :). Would definitely stay here again.

Great house for families
We really enjoyed our stay! The house was perfectly set up for our family of four. We appreciate having access to bikes, beach chairs and boogie boards. Brandy was quick to address all of our questions she immediately set out maintenance to replace the Keurig and light bulbs that where out.

Great location!
We really enjoyed being so near East beach. The house is great with a nice living room area. The golf cart could use some new shocks though! One other thing to note is that the bedrooms are very tight with doors opening into beds in a couple of places. These weren’t a huge deal for us though and we also enjoyed having marsh access right across from the house.

Just what we needed!
We had another great week at BHI! This house met our family of 5’s needs perfectly and it is situated in our favorite part of the island. We love being near East beach and the shoals. The kitchen was well appointed, the house was clean, and the beds were very comfy. There was a water main break while we were there, but it was quickly fixed. Brandy’s team was quick to keep us informed during that time. The house is tucked away back by the marsh area with a dock access to the creek. Our family spent countless hours down on the dock fishing/casting. The dock is also the perfect spot to watch the sunset. We would definitely return to this home again!

Wonderful escape at the Mahi Mahi
This was our first trip to Bald Head Island, and we had an amazing time! We loved the location of the Mahi Mahi - nestled away in a quiet shaded neighborhood and only a quick trip to East Beach. We also visited BHI Club every day of our visit, and we looked forward to the golf cart rides that got us there. BHI Services was wonderful to work with. They were both accommodating and quick to respond with any questions we had.

This location was perfectly tucked away in a quiet street. It was easy to access by golf cart and was a pleasant ride in the morning and evenings when we left to explore or were coming back. The house is very spacious and we easily could have fit another couple with us. The house had beach towels, chairs, cruiser bikes, and a well-stocked kitchen with the basics we needed. The only issue we had was that all of the beds were incredibly creaky - the slightest move resulted in a sound. It wasn’t anything to ruin our sleep, though. You get over it quickly. I would happily return to this spot and would recommend it to others!

Great communication and location
Mahi Mahi was a great property for a girls weekend; I had never heard of a reverse floor plan and my friend and I thought it was so cute. It was close to the beach, and that was the best part. We did have a small issue with pests, but as soon as we reported it, the action that the cleaners and property managers took was really impressive.

Beautiful house, great location.
Really enjoyed staying at this house. The layout was great with the reverse floor plan, lots of room to hang out as a family. House was well stocked with appliances, beach chairs etc. Wish the outside shower has privacy walls, so we could have used it as a real shower.

Great little house in a very pleasant area.
The house is very nice with one oddity, the king bed in the bedroom upstairs almost entirely fits the room and access is tight. A queen bed would be better with the king bed replacing the standard double downstairs. But the house is great. The golf cart is quite dated with rather old tires.

Wonderful getaway
We had a fabulous experience staying at this beautiful home. The home was very clean and smelled wonderful upon our arrival. It had all the basic necessities to get us started. We brought our dog and there was plenty of space to set up her crate. The upstairs bed was so comfy and we enjoyed grilling out on the fenced in patio! It was such a nice getaway for our family of four plus our puppy! The rental company was very responsive with any of our questions. We always have such a wonderful time on the island but this one was particularly nice to just getaway from it all for a few days!
