The hotel is old and could use remodeling. The rates have gone up and the rooms are not up to the quality of the money you pay for them. We were in a pinch this time so we booked here, have stayed here before but it's not our previous place.

This property was clean and inviting. It was absolutely perfect for an anniversary weekend getaway. The house is so private, quiet and serene back in the woods, but you can walk right down to downtown Helen and be in the middle of everything within 15 minutes. It is truly the best of both worlds. ...
