A pleasant surprise. Tastefully designed and clean hotel. Structures well maintained despite the town being ravaged by the recent typhoon. Definitely recommending this place to my friends! Will spend more time next time here.
Thanks Sha and Cel!
The hotel was immaculately clean. We booked thru Hotels.com, and it said only 2 rooms available yet hotel was empty. Water pressure is extremely low and no breakfast. Facility is right on the beach. We were able to switch to the family rooms for our accommodations. Staff is terrific.
HIDDEN GEM IN BALER!!! 😍 You won't see this hotel much if you google hotels in Baler, but deym... we just passed by this hotel when trying to check the famous ones in the area. And thank God we went back since the others we've checked were downers. This has it ALL - Cheap (2k/night/room w/veranda, w/ superb breakfast + free parking), breathtaking roofdeck that has the view of the beach and mountain ranges, super nice and accommodating staff attending to all of your needs 24/7, clean, quiet and relaxing ambiance of the whole place. My fiancé and I can't think of anything wrong with this place to be honest, it was perfect!!! Don't bother checking the budget hotels near Sabang beach, not worth it 😩
I had booked 2 rooms for a group of 6 and when we arrived we were told that we'd only reserved 1 room. Fortunately I had all the booking info on hand so a phone call between receptionist and owner seemed to sort out the problem.
Then we had another discussion about how many breakfasts were prepaid, so again I had to show all the booking info. Once in our rooms, the missus discovered that the shower didn’t work. The receptionist couldn't fix it so we got moved to a different room.
The staff were actually trying to be helpful and the place was clean and fairly quiet. WiFi worked well.
Breakfast was typical Filipino food, Tocino, egg, rice and fried banana. There were no options.
There's a beach area out back which is nothing special but OK for a quick swim.
They only have about 5 car park spaces so finding a space could be competitive.
Used a restaurant called Brad and Barrel for our evening meal which was a 20 minute walk away. Food was OK but nothing special.
Hotel looks new and clean. They allow cooking and dining at the roof top or al fresco beach side. My favorite feature is the estuary fronting the hotel itself. Its amazing to watch the river rushing to the sea and vice versa when its high tide. You can choose if you want to dip in fresh or salt water :)
