Evansville Balgaard Wildlife Management Area Hotels

"I thought the rooms were a little bit expensive for the area and what’s available to do. I had a King. Just a bit pricy, although the room was extremely nice and clean. Super roomy. Very quiet. Lots of outlets and charging ports and I liked the tv on a swivel. Would have liked a master switch near the bed. Room had a mini fridge. Standard large size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc, no mini bottles. It’s fine. I use it when I travel. Hypoallergenic. Looks like there is a hotel being build across the street. Starbucks is like 5 minutes down the road and it’s roomy if you wanted to work from Starbucks. Conference room area available at the hotel. The food in the area was also pretty expensive and yeah that’s all I’m going to say about that. I stopped at Kwik Trip on my way home by choice. There is a diner place in the area, they have cinnamon rolls fresh at 6am. They are massive. Food was decent. Broasted chicken was awesome. The grocery store is in walking distance of the hotel and there is a restaurant right next door. The area is really building up and there are some really nice areas to visit. Cute. Fun place to visit when the weather is nicer. They have a Runestone museum across the from Pint and something. Beer was good. There’s a Nordic statue we wanted do visit but we were working. So yeah add it to your bucket list."

"Kitchen could have been stocked better. No salt and pepper, kitchen towels, potholders, dishwasher detergent etc. just basic things main floor bathroom was not stocked with toilet paper. There was some in lower level bathroom."

"Our stay at ‘Bearadise’ was great! The home was very welcoming and decorated for the holidays. The weather didn’t cooperate for the winter outdoor activities we had originally planned, but we all stayed happily busy playing pool, darts, basketball and rock climbing in the huge indoor gym, and playing other board games. If you are looking to get away and enjoy a quiet country property, this is a perfect spot!"
