“This was an amazing place to stay. New fixtures and vintage decor just blocks from downtown Solvang with all its yummy bites and wine tasting rooms. Will stay here again!”

“Excellent stay, enjoyed our time in Solvang. Great house for a group. Very comfortable to gather as a group and well appointed sleeping arrangements. Furniture in garage (couch and mattress) limited parking space in the garage due to vehicle sizes. We were only able to park 2 of 3 cars on the property. Would have been nice to have extra towels for the Spa. All said and done, we had a great stay.”

“We had a wonderful stay celebrating a family member's 30th birthday. The house had everything we needed on a rainy weekend - cozy sofa, game room, well-equipped kitchen and incredible views. It is close enough to wineries and the cute towns of Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and Solvang while still feeling like you are out in the countryside. The beds were comfy and the entire house was spotless. Highly recommend!”

“We had a lovely spring break vacation at Susie's home. We had everything we needed - from very comfortable rooms, a quiet neighborhood, a gas bbq grill, full equipped kitchen, swimming pool, high speed internet, and board games galore. Everything was very clean and we got to enjoy relaxing at the house in between our fishing outings at Goleta Pier and Lake Cachuma. Thank you, Susie, for a lovely stay and for being responsive to all our questions!”

“To start, check-in was easy and we were welcomed by notes, information and brochures about local eateries and entertainment provided by the host. The place had privacy from the main house and backyard that made the stay more comfortable than it already was based on its cleanliness and amenities. The kitchen is stocked with great basics for cooking and seating to eat inside or outside on the front patio. We experienced a pleasant and quiet stay with great few-minutes access to downtown Solvang by……

“We rented this property to celebrate mom's 80th birthday as she wanted to go to Solvang. Weather was not in our favor that weekend but we were able to stay in this home, light a fire, play games, drink wine and relax. It was perfect. The views of the mountains are beautiful. We were able to see them with a dusting of snow! The location of the home is perfect. Easy drive to all the local favorite spots.”

Tons of privacy between the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms but super cozy and comfortable in between. The views were so pretty and although I do enjoy staying closer to downtown Solvang, the spaciousness was so appreciated and still close to everything. Loved it!!!”

“Stayed in 1 of 4 newish two story houses on a gated lot. Everything in good condition, kitchen fully equipped, quiet neighborhood, but near all the action. Glad I found it!”

“We loved Dawn's house and our stay. The location is perfect being just off the main road, so all businesses / restaurants were within walking distance. Directly across the street is the best breakfast place in town. Very spacious living spaces and well stocked kitchen for basic needs. The bathrooms had good water pressure and the beds were comfortable. We were there for a wedding, so did not get to use the hot tub, but Dawn cleans and treats it before check-in and readily responded to all……

The house itself is cute; we had a fenced yard for the dog to enjoy and the area itself felt away from it all without actually being that far away. I don’t usually sleep well away from home but I slept like a baby there. The peace and quiet plus a comfortable bed did the trick. We would definitely go back to enjoy more of the wineries and great restaurants.”
