「 I booked 3 lodges for family and friends for my daughter’s 40th birthday. We all loved our stay, despite the weather. The lodges were clean, comfortable and very spacious. Grandchildren had a brilliant time with the outdoor space, swimming & dry sledging. Would have loved more time but we will certainly be back as there is so much we haven’t done. Local people & shop staff were very helpful and friendly.」

「Not our normal sort of place to stay but ideal for our circumstances. Lovely facilities and folk staying at the same time. Good self catering shared kitchen though only as we left did we tumble to the fact that Helen had provided some communal consumables in the kitchen - our loss.」

「Great spot, just a few minutes down the a9 from Pitlochry. Tranquil. Plenty of ducks wandering around. Lodge was equipped with most stuff you'd want. We stayed in the smaller joined lodges, and we were surprised how good the sound proofing was. Useful to have a washing machine available. 」

「If you want a secluded quiet get away with everything the family needs this is the place. A small glitch with the WiFi (not of the hosts doing) was dealt with quickly and courteously by John the host. All in all the perfect break. 」

「Lovely big house off set from the other houses and surrounded with forest so all balconies were private. Great kitchen with everything you need. Complimentary washing, cleaning items to save having to pack these. We had a lovely stay. Would definitely book again if the double beds could be made into singles as another friend will be with us and need twin rooms. 」

「Lovely peaceful stay at the Wee Snug, really spacious and loved being able to rotate the TV to watch TV in bed and relax! Games were so fun, shower is really powerful. One thing - bed is very soft FYI! Also, we struggled with getting any sort of taxi booking in the evening so I would advise booking ahead of time if you plan to venture to nearby villages etc. and want a couple drinks - we ended up just driving to places and getting takeaway and coming back to have some drinks with dinner instead....

「Everything was excellent.The outstanding property and all its facilities. Wonderful location, overlook magnificent scenery. We loved all the bird life and spent many hours watching the activity on the bird feeders, including very greedy and bossy woodpeckers and visits from red squirrels. We also spotted a deer in the fields below us. We have recommended the treehouse to many of our friends and hope we can come again too.」

「Very friendly host, comfy bed and nice bathroom. Beams were a little low near the bed so remember to duck! Plenty on offer for continental breakfast including homemade bread. Due to covid we struggled finding places to eat however we were able to use the oven in the kitchen to heat up some food we bought from the nearby co-op. We visited the reindeer centre and it was amazing I thoroughly recommend this trip!」
