“Very nice staff. Slightly disappointed in our rooms, very outdated. I saw a room next to ours which was much nicer. The dining room was nice and breakfast was great!”

“The hotel is located in the center of this small village. A easy 10 minute walk from the train station. The train station is very basic with a platform and a small covered sitting area, for when it is raining. This village has only two taxi's so planning through pre-booking is a must. On the day of our check-out, even after pre-booking, traffic conditions almost side-railed our next leg of our adventure. The hotel's receptionist, I forgot to ask her name, was very instrumental in getting us……

“We were visiting some ancestral homes in and around the area but this location was also really convenient for Cork and Cobh. Eric the host and owner was great - super helpful and checked in every day to make sure all was well. Full shared kitchen stocked with every convenience was also great - as was having a space to hangout besides the room to do some work. Plus fun to meet other guests.”

“We only stayed for one night and we didn't eat at the restaurant or visit the bar. I would say the only down side of this hotel was that there wasn't an elevator.”

“The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful, from check in, to breakfast serving, to check out. Each person was happy and smiling during my stay. Room was clean and tidy, with all the usuals you would expect (ironing facilities, hairdryer, toiletries etc). Will stay there again if in the area.”
