“Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”

“A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”

“I was disappointed by the lack of clarity regarding the spa facilities. The online advertisement states that the hotel has spa facilities, which was one of the reasons for choosing this hotel. Unfortunately, we were only informed upon arrival that there was an additional £40 charge to use them. This information should be clearly stated in the advertisement so guests can make an informed decision before booking. Greater transparency would help avoid disappointment and improve the overall guest……

“Fabulous country house style stay - there is a sweeping driveway through mature gardens. The history of the house is fascinating - the monkey puzzle tree is a late addition at 1913. Staff are so kind and friendly and the food is all freshly cooked to order with generous portions. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely visit.”

“Just stayed weekend for wife’s birthday, hotel lovely and spotless only thing we could really complain about was breakfast not much choice at all was very basic which was abit of a let down considering the hotel is really nice, and in a really good location, would stay again but wouldn’t bother with the breakfast option unless it was changed or upgraded abit, also contacted hotel to say was wife’s birthday anything complimentary would be appreciated and never even got a response from them, a……
