I never saw housekeeping, even though I put my sign out side the door asking for service. No one ever asked if sheets needed to be changed. All the garbage cans were full when I left. The mattress was not very comfortable at all, seemed very cheap, no support.

Check in was smooth and easy. We were able to check-in online and simply picked up our room keys at the service desk. Staff was very friendly and kind. The area outside the hotel seemed rough, but we never ran into any issues. Our room, however, was not clean at all. There was dust everywhere and the sheets were covered in makeup stains. The bathroom and bath tub were also dirty and the ceiling was covered in mold. Hotel area was convenient but I likely won't stay here again.

There was a party going on at the hotel, on the 19th floor, the first night. You could hear music throughout the entire hotel. Totally ridiculous. I have never experienced anything like that and I’ve traveled extensively. The bad was very uncomfortable. You could tell that it was a cheap mattress. Lastly, check-in time was 4 PM and no exceptions were made to check-in even a minute earlier.

This property does not have a breakfast buffet as stated in the property details. The front desk staff was rude. It also took 3 calls to housekeeping and the front desk before I received the towels I requested.

The room was average. Dimly lit and older television. Vents were disgusting and covered in layers of dust. Room ceiling had water stains, peeling paint, and holes. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Staff was pleasant. Leave early for anything you need to do because the elevator can take quite a while during peak times.

I was hoping the hotel would capture the elegance of days past but that didnt mean staying in an era before electrical conveniences. Day 1 electrical problems in room, room not very clean, room saturated with air freshener. The bed was sprung on one side. Maintenance replaces microwave. Day 2 the hotel is over booked and has multiple events happening. Desk staff are overwhelmed and stressed. No room to change to. More electrical problems but this time they arent fixed. Day 3 discover the hairdryer dosent have a plug - but the staff at desk are still overwhelmed with overlapping events and full house - I dont bother asking for anything because they are stressed and rude Electrical issues still not fixed. Day 4 checking out 9 am -ALL elevators are broken and offline - I call the desk and ask when they will be running again and the lady tells me they will be working on them until 3pm and use the stairs! I said we have to get to the airport and have suitcases - SO THE TWO OF US DRAGGED TWO SUITCASES AND CARRYONS DOWN 34 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS AS WE WERE ON THE 17TH FLOOR - it took us 25 minutes - my husband has a heart condition but we were so afraid of not getting to the airport on time and missing the flight, we didnt have any other good option. AVOID THIS HOTEL LIKE THE PALGUE. They dont care about the hotel, or the guests.

The building itself is architecturally grand however, this comes at the cost of comfort. The air conditioning is atrocious. The elevators are scary. The carpeting, fixtures are antiquated to say the least. No updated outlets or electronic charging amenities. No available room service, no non-paid parking or continental breakfast available. If your a historic architecture fan, it's a must see but definitely NOT a comfortable stay. Hot, old, musty. Needs updated desperately or drastic room price reduction.

Lord Baltimore is in good enough shape for a nearly 100 year old hotel. The lobby is quite grand and was always buzzing with activity. The rooms show more of the hotel’s age particularly in the bathroom where the door had what looked like a hole that was plastered and painted over, a tub with some tile cracks and soap-scummed fixtures. The room itself was on the small side and had walls so thin I could hear the conversation in the room next door and the guest’s loud snoring. There was an older LG television with no remote control, a microwave on top of the desk that seemed pretty old but worked when I wanted to heat up some water. Despite the size and thinness of the walls, it was still a comfortable accommodation in which I got two nights of good sleep in. It’s a good enough hotel property that has good personality where it lacks great design.

1. Room maid service not done till requested at front desk at 5pm after initial door request at 10 AM on Friday 4/17/26 2. Room maid service never came again Saturday 4/18/26. We gave up after waiting till 5pm. 3. No glasses in room next to ice bucket. Told to use paper and plastic cups. 4. Checked in luggage to bellman in AM. At 5pm - told bellman “coming “, after 10 minutes when I inquired he was “gone for the day”. Requested doorman to get luggage. 5. Flavored water in lobby was refreshing! Thxu.

Don't be fooled by the lobby. Hotel rooms are run down and not maintained well. On my stay the first night i had to switch rooms 3 times due to room issue's. The first room had no furniture and was on the death floor (19th floor) and felt like death. The second room the knob on the tub broke off and had mold while i was giving my son a bath and the ac didn't work. The third room was ok had no furniture ( so i took the furniture from the second room). House keeping did not come during our entire stay( 4 days)!!! Not impressed! Hotel very much looks like it hasn't been updated since 1928 when it opened. Elevators were malfunctioning. Overall just super disappointing and to make it better not one accommodation was offered. Some of the staff were friendly, but for the most part, it was just as bland as the hotel stay yourself a favor don't book with them..and parking is super expensive! Not worth the stress or the money. It's sad that a hotel is such amazing history. Can't hold up to it history!!

Unfortunately this hotel was not as fancy as is described or I expected/wanted. The foyer is spectacular but the rooms are very basic & disappointing. Our room did not have a sofa chair or the bed ottoman bench. The bathroom was very outdated. Also there were people that lingered outside the hotel all day, everyday. The only thing that helped was the nice & friendly staff but definitely not worth the price especially with valet parking too.

Great customer service - They did charge a 35.00 early check in fee, more of an FYI. Rooms were available. It's a neat old hotel with a lot of history. Beautiful original ceilings in the entry main hotel, simple but good food menu, great cocktails. Had the margarita pizza with some pepperoni - it was great. It wasn't a flatbread, more of a fresh dough. The wings were good too. They physical building - good shape, but the exterior windows could be washed. The location was convenient and an 8-minute walk to the convention center. I felt safe all in all. Streets are well lit. The federal building is across the street. All in all, I'd give a 3.5 ***

Dark, dank and in an unsafe part of town. I left after one night. The room was small and dark and the only window looked out into a wall. Everything was old and I couldn't tell if it was clean. Restaurant had only a limited menu--not the items that are listed on their website.
