The staff were very helpful and provided suggestions for dining nearby. The hotel is walking distance to the old town and other historic sites. It’s convenient if you are visiting the University.

The staff was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, including directions to local attractions and restaurant recommendations. The room was much larger than the typical hotel room one finds in Europe. It's in a great location to explore Bamberg. The breakfast was high quality and sumptuous. And...........at a price less expensive than other properties we stayed at in Germany.

It was about a 15 minute walk to this hotel from the Bamberg Hbf, but it is close to the Old Town, and it was very clean and quiet. Speedy check in and check out.

Awesome place! We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms clean and spacious. The location was easy to reach and everything in town was walkable. Overall would recommend this place. Will definitely come back when in Bamberg next time!

Brilliant stay here. Lovely, big room. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Special mention to the lady who took care of my laundry with a smile and did an excellent job. Easy walking distance to the station and the old city attractions. Highly recommended.

Room was tiny and cramped. No room to work (no table), no soap in sink - just two tiny bottles of shower gel. No coat hangers in wardrobe, got trapped in the lift as it was broken and breakfast was very average.

Wonderful hotel and staff - definitely recommend

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at this hotel and it was wonderful. We arrived in Bamberg on Sunday morning (well before check-in) and were able to store our luggage and we were also given a map of Old Town and a list of cafes that we could visit while we waited for our check-in time. The room was lovely and spacious, and the air conditioning was a nice surprise (and very welcome with the unusually warm weather. The breakfast was also great with lots of choices and a large, comfortable eating area (you could even eat outside in their garden area). And again I cannot say enough about the hotel staff - very pleasant and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel and if we are ever back in the area it will be my first choice.
