The cathedral is under the administration of the Roman Catholic Church and is the seat of the Archbishop of Bamberg. Since 1993, the cathedral has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Town of Bamberg". It was founded in 1002 by King (and later Emperor) Heinrich II (Henry II) and consecrated in 1012. After the first two cathedrals burned down in the 11th and 12th centuries, the current structure, a late Romanesque building with four large towers, was built in the 13th century.

Enjoyed every bit of our stay. The hotel had a great location on the river and close to everything Old Town. Breakfast was one on the best we experienced while traveling throughout Europe and the owners were very responsive and helpful. Felt more like a B&B than a hotel…good thing!

The staff/owners were wonderful. My two negative issues were the parking fees in the parking garage. Parked Friday afternoon left early Sunday morning and it cost $40 euros. The loud people coming out of the bars between 10 pm and 3:30 am kept us up and difficult to sleep. Loud, drunk people sitting around the hotel. Could not sleep. Plus side, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast!

Right on the river and a short walk to old town. We were visiting during the football games being held in Germany and there were a lot of people up very late and making a lot of noise if their team won. But this was out of the hotels control.

위치는 중앙역에서 택시로 10분 정도 거리지만 구시청 및 구시가지 접근성은 매우 좋음. 매우 친절하고 정감있는 사장님과 정성을 다한 아침식사가 매우 만족스러웠습니다. 라지에터가 잘 돌아가 한겨울 따뜻하게 잘 지냈으며 택시를 못 잡아 어려움 겪고 있을 때 바로 도움 주셔서 기차도 제 시간에 탈수 있었습니다. 좋은 호텔 추천 합니다.

Gerne wieder, angenehmer Aufenthalt

Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Hatte ein Zimmer mit Blick direkt auf den Fluss, sehr hübsch. Beim Frühstück gab es kein Buffet, sondern sehr freundliche und reichliche persönliche Bewirtung. Keinerlei Einschränkung gegenüber dem meist üblichen Frühstück in Buffetform, sehr gute Auswahl, sehr angenehm. Lage: sehr hübsch direkt am Fluss, nah zu Restaurants usw.

Gute Lage, man kommt zu Fuß überall hin. Ist aber eher ein Zimmer mit Frühstück, kein Hotel. Keine Bar, Lobby oder ähnliche Leistungen. Das Café war geschlossen. Aufbackbrötchen und kein Frühstückbuffet (verständlich bei der Größe). Wer ein Hotel sucht ist hier falsch. Wer ein Zimmer mit einfachem Frühstück sucht ist jedoch gut bedient.

Gute Lage, Frühstück recht einfach, Zimmer in der Mansarde zwar ausreichend aber mit kleinem Bad. Es wird mit Michelin 2018 beworben, ist aber teurer wie im Führer.

Ideale Lage
