"When we arrived there was no record of our confirmation. The staff were unaware of our arrival. She had to call the owner to confirm. The owner neglected to inform them of our arrival. Such a disorganized way of doing business. Water supply was being turned off during the night. We have to wait for the staff to arrive in the AM to turn it on. Toilet was a big problem when you want to use that night ‘coz it won’t flush because there is no water supply. We had to leave the property a day early ‘coz we just can’t stay there another night!"

"From the moment my wife and I stepped onto the resort we felt treated like royalty. Walking up to the front desk we were met with someone offering us a fresh coconut drink, followed by a damp towelette, then we were presented three girls dancing to tropical music for us. Great way to start a vacation! Later, when we first walked into our room, we were pleasantly surprised at the newness and super cleanliness of it all. Very modern, clean and complete. The bed was a king size, with a comfortable mattress and set of pillows (I almost asked where I could buy a set for my house but I forgot). The staff is also very friendly, always greeting guests with a smile, whether they were table servers, gardeners or janitors. The grounds on the island are very welcoming, super photogenic, an ideal place for a wedding if that’s what someone might be looking for. Also a great place for a church or business group getaway, with a large meeting facility to accommodate a fairly large group of people. Probably the only disappointment was that The Mill burger restaurant was not as experienced in steak based meals as they were in Filipino meals. The steak I had the first night was disappointing but everything else they served up was delicious. All in all, my wife enjoyed an amazing three days of peace and rest, and we look forward to visiting again in the future. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect getaway, without breaking the bank. It is also very affordable!"

"We stayed in this Hostel for 5 nights ! The staff and the owner is very very nice . There's a kitchen in the hostel so you can cook whatever you want. You can even buy drinks snacks from outside and bring inside the Hostel !. There's lots of beautiful paintings painted by the Owner ! The lot is very spacious, quit and lots of plants perfect for relaxtion! Everytime we go out for a tour, we're always surprised everytime we get back to the hostel because the staff already cleaned our room while we're away having a tour ! I really like the owner sir Ninio, on our last day i ask the staff if i can extend till 6pm because our flight back home is 10:55pm, check out is 12nn and you can only extend till 3pm, so the staff ask the owner if i can extend till 6pm, guess what ? Sir Ninio the owner said it's fine and he will not charge me from 3pm to 6pm! . If you're looking for a place to stay in Samal ! This is the perfect place for you, budget friendly not expensive and you can cook whatever you want and the beach is just 2mins walk from the hostel . "We had Very nice stay. The entrance in a little rough. Was not prepared for so many steps up and down getting into the property. Do not remember it being listed in property information.. But once down into the property it was everything we had hoped for. Quiet, tropical, lots of exotic birds and so many beautiful plants. The Bungalow we stayed in was perfect size for 2 people, very romantic. The service is casual and relaxed but still attentive. Our Room Butler Jerlyn was amazing. So friendly and answered any questions we had. Overall we loved our stay. Thank you "

"Ron and Merna have a lovely and spacious home. Great water pressure & plenty of water--a rare find in the PH. A guest we had one weekend said it was the best night's sleep he'd had in a month! Super quiet BR aircon. Ample cushioned seating. Large TV. Beach is about 1.5 miles away. Kind neighbors. Great front porch."
