Great Last Minute Stay
Booked last minute, very accommodating. Smooth check in and very friendly staff. Rooms had a control panel net to the bed for every light, which was very very nice. Price was little high for the size and quality hotel, but was a busy time of year.

Very close to Bumrungrad International hospital. Breakfast simple but good. Egg station and a selection of 4 other dishes. After 9 had to order 'cause other dishes were gone. Restaurants and 7-11 very close. Aircon in room was noisy and adjusting temp did not affect the coldness. A weird odor in the room.

The property is very dated and old. The room had not been cleaned in awhile. Dust and dirt and a white powder. The staff was great though.

early check in/late check out
Service was friendly but early check in and late check out advertised as included in our booking was not available. We booked this particular hotel due to my hospital stay/surgery at Bumrungrad and for the convenience an early check in/late check out would give us. We called ahead and were told that this was based on availability only and they put a note on our booking. It was not available when we arrived early so we left our bags and came back. We were told at check in that we could stay until 2 PM the next day as long as we informed them before noon. When my husband did this, they told him they would have to charge him an extra 1000 Baht if he stayed until 2 (roughly $30 when we only paid $50 for the room for the night). Sadly misleading and shouldn't be advertised. Otherwise very friendly and efficient staff and good stay for its proximity to the hospital.

It was a decent hotel right now Bumrungrad hospital. The inside doesn't look special but the rooms were really nice and I felt very comfortable. I great deal for your dollar.

This place is good and conviently located next to hospital, whent many times already. Rooms are clean and confy, breakfast is so so not a lot of things on the buffet but the coffee was cold I don’t know how they do it,

Not awful
Hotel advertises two bedroom suites but it’s really just two of the regular rooms with adjoining doors. It’s ok but a bit misleading and I’m not sure if the pricing actually favors booking them that way or separately. Room has a lot of mold and is a pretty worn out feel to it. Restaurant has limited hours and there’s no room service though you can go to the restaurant and order food to be brought up to your room. City view is not how I would describe any of the rooms. Technically it’s correct that when you look out the window you see Bangkok but calling it a view is really misleading. It’s just a tiny little side street and the walls of the adjacent buildings. You can’t see anything beyond the immediate surroundings of the hotel. The location is pretty good and you can walk to the action but it’s a bit of a hike and you won’t find an honest tuk tuk or taxi down that little street so you still pay the same prices you would for a much longer ride. Hotel staff was nice and accommodating.

Good enough
I booked a two bedroom suite but my impression is that what they gave me were just two adjoining rooms that could be linked through double doors. There are suites on display in the elevator flat screen that look far superior to what I was given. The blackout curtains don’t block out hardly any light, there is quite a bit of noise from the street level and the “city view” is just a of the narrow road in front of the hotel. The room is a bit run down and could be in better shape. On the upside I liked the location, the beds were relatively comfortable and the staff was friendly and competent.

Dreadful Internet
My main complaint is the wi-fi. It was absolutely dreadful. It kept dropping out and was slow when it worked. Infuriating. A second issue is the demand for a 2000 baht deposit when the hotels.com voucher clearly stated that a 500 baht deposit is payable. I also didn't like the shower over the bath rather than a standalone shower. Apart from that, it's a pleasant hotel, in good condition, with friendly staff.

My husband was receiving surgery in the nearby Bumrungrad Hospital so the Aspira Skyy 1 was just perfect: close, good simple breakfast, clean rooms, pleasant staff. I would stay there again.

Cold water showers for 2 days
Didn’t have hot water in my room on the 8th floor for 2 days as I paid for my room and should have, they said they would fix the first day, I was not compensated for it! Internet was very bad on that floor, also it says we have to deposit $500 bht but it’s $2000 which is ok but we should know that it’s $2000 not $500. I was first on the 5th floor which was fine until they changed my room. I asked for a manager and the women at the front counter said they deal with any situations there is no managers.

I felt that anything I asked for being done as in no hot water floor 8, an iron had to call twice, laundry they didn’t speak English at all for was told I can dial 8115, refrigerator was not working they did fix bit again cad to call twice. Room very nice looking hotel nothing as gym, pool or anything much.

Staff is not so very friendly. No hot shower inside the room. Not very clean room. Location is really bad! Food- don't bother, nobody eats in their restaurant. If I can rate this lower than zero, I would!

Lage ist ok. Zur Nana Station nur ca. 10 min Fußweg und zum Kanalboot nur 5 min. Allerdings habe ich ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett gebucht und nur eines mit zwei Einzelbetten bekommen. Grund: Die Zimmer mit Doppelbett waren ausgebucht. Da ich nur ein paar Nächte da war und keine Lust hatte rumzustreiten, habe ich es hingenommen. Ich würde aber in Zukunft dieses Hotel vermeiden, die sehen mich nicht nochmal.
