From the moment we walked in, the staff welcome and aroma of essential oils and jasmine flower bracelet, you feel relaxation! We were lucky to have an upgrade to the top floor with a suite.....amazing, with a breathtaking view. Thanks Anna from South Korea. The Vertigo restaurant and bar is incredible at night-time, despite our meal being cut short by a huge electrical storm....very exciting to see it come in!! Finally, the Terrace Goodie cafe is a must visit. Some of the best patisserie treats I have ever seen....all made in-house. Thanks Banyan Tree.

Pros: The rooms are spotless, amenities are excellent and staff is very quick to respond. Every morning they provide a beautiful fruit platter and housekeeping sometimes leaves behind cute gift tokens. Cons: Breakfast buffet does not cater to vegetarians at all, they were unable to provide an early check in and no welcome drinks were provided. Notes: One thing to note before booking - it is one of those hotels that asks for 3000 thb deposit per day of your stay.
