Overall our stay was OK but could've been A LOT better.
Firstly, when asked about a room upgrade as part of my Gold Membership, this was completely ignored over email and when arriving, I was told the hotel was full but it couldn't have been more than 40% occupied.
Next, our room (201) was on the first floor facing the street so was prone to a lot of noise through the night - again not ideal especially given my Gold VIP Member expectation.
Third, I received a notification saying that I would have later check out (2pm) but on the day of check out had an angry receptionist denying this and demanding we check out at 12pm - we settled on 1pm in the end.
The one day we asked for the room to be made up, there were no towels delivered, this seemed to be a recurring theme as the pool ran out of towels around the same time each day.
In saying that, most of the staff were super friendly, the room top pool is a nice place to hang out, the drinks selection (and pricing) was good, location is good to get into the busy nightlife and the daily breakfast was great.
I wouldn't say it's a 4 star hotels, closer to 3-3.5 but I suppose you get what you pay for.
