The hotel is situated in a residential neighborhood, and can be a bit hard to find for the unprepared. There are some small kiosks and restaurants around, and a major shopping center within ca. 20 minutes walk (or a short tuk tuk ride). The room was basic, but spacious. Bedsheets were clean, aircon and TV worked, etc. Wifi was fine, though for it you need (free) 10-hour vouchers from the reception. If you run out, you can always ask for more. The best feature was the big swimming pool on top of the building. There is an adjacent gym, which is enough for basic exercise.
There was occasionally some noise during the night and early morning, due to doors slamming shut. It was that the old doors were especially noisy, not the residents. All in all, a minor issue. This hotel is good for a cost-conscious traveler, who likes to do some light physical exercise regularly. From the Phra Rama 9 subway station, it is easy to reach Sukhumvit, skytrain etc.
