Great location, poor cleaning

We love the ski on / ski off location but was disappointed with the cleanliness of the unit. We did address this with Vacasa but unfortunately it was over the holiday and by the time they offered to come and reclean, we had already done so ourselves. Vacasa did make it right by reimbursing our cleaning fee. The master bed was cozy but the second bedroom mattress was very hard. A pillow top cushion would be recommended for comfort for future guests. They had a nice variety of books and games for entertainment, that was a nice addition!

Great slopeslide condo for families

Although the unit could use some updating, the location is perfect for families wanting a ski in/out condo! Check in/out was simple and it was perfect for our quick mountain getaway, allowing us to spend as much time as possible on the slopes. Great for families with kids!

Great location

Hard to find on arrival as there is 2-#14s and the reservation app doesn't give you common entrance code just gate code and villa door. (common door code was in prior email and with a little digging I found it) Once inside all was good except the beds weren't made and linens were not in rooms. But after call the sheets and pillowcases arrived we were off and snowboarding. We plan on booking the same villa again.

Great location…actual property was lacking.

The location was on point. Very accessible to the slopes. As far as the actual inside of the rental it was lacking. The unit was not cleaned when we arrived, maybe straightened up some but not cleaned. Dirty towels were left on top of the washer that my husband had to wash. A bloody bandaid was under the sink in the bathroom, hair in the tub in which I had to clean before we could take our showers as well as dishes not appropriately washed (actually had food dried on them in the cabinets). Overall it met the expectation only of location and nothing more.

Disgusting

This has got to be the dirtiest place we have ever stayed at. There was blood stains on the sheets and someone else's hair on the pillow cases. It was not vacuumed or swept, there were things in the washing machine that haven't been washed. Overall just nasty. Will never say here again. The location is good but when you stay in a place this dirty, I rather drive a few miles and be in a nice clean place then be right on the slopes staying in a filthy place. Do not bring you family here.

Took an hour to figure out where unit 14 was because at 146 Branch there are two The stove did not work Consequence hungry the TV set so confusing as to quit the WIFi too slow to watch netfliks as plan b The washer drier thank God i found that well hidden utlility No instructions on anything when so easy to And phone for help call centre after call centre Sorry epic fail

Nice cozy and werm get away night with friends ... agent are very helpfull in responding in requests. This is my first time booking thru this way without front desk, i even have to ask the visitor how to unlock the room door because there is no press bottom on ther room door. The room temperature is very high when we got there and have to request to reduce. Not sure you needed to request your desired room temperature before you go otherwise everything is goods, they got everything you needed.

Great place!

It was the perfect location to the slopes and it was enjoyable watching skiers including my family ride the chair lift up and ski back down. The place had everything you would need and we would stay again. Thanks for a wonderful weekend at Sugar Mountain.

Great weekend trip

Getting access to bee branch 14 was easy to follow. It was perfect what we needed and we enjoyed being able to watch the skiing from our back porch and from inside.

Great Location

We will definitely be returning to this location for future trips. It was perfect with the kids. Our check in process was a little hectic since the placed was not cleaned on time. But other than that we had a great trip and highly recommend this place if you are going with kids.

Perfect location

Had a fantastic time! Our view to the back porch was my favorite with sugar Mt and people skiing down. The drive to Sugar Mt Resort was less then 2 mins where you go to ski, tubing and ice skating. There is also a Food Lion up the road as well so not much driving is necessary. This home away from home was very cozy, clean and had everything needed and working like dishwasher, washer/ dryer. Would stay here again! *helpful tip...you will get your key left in a lock box with a code sent to you to retrieve your key, there are 3 or 4 lock boxes in hallway...our key was in the lock box on the left side when u walk in the hall way(hopefully this saves you time) 5/5!

Short but great stay

We were only there for one night. The WiFi info from real estate company was incorrect but the correct info is taped on the table under the tv. The place was quite cold when we arrived and each room had its own thermostat so make sure to adjust them. Otherwise it’s an ideal location right on slopes. We had a blast!

Cozy home with a view !

We stayed here for Christmas week so prices obviously are going to be higher. But the view pays for it. Being right on the slopes ski in and out. Not being far from the center of it all. The kids loved ice skating and tubing. ! The house it self was cozy and home feeling. The kitchen is equipped with all the kitchen appliances you need ! I loved how they have plenty of games stocked in house so they are available for use. Food lion is about a mile down the road from the bottom heel entrance. Elk banner isn’t far , Boone isn’t far for hitting the downtown strip for local stores and gift shops. We always stop at the general mast store ! Always a great place to get something different. Each room has its own adjustable heat settings. If your traveling with kids this is kid friendly as we had 3 and no issues ! Also someone must have moved the gas logs . Because they where out of place and that causes them to burn dirty and put off a odor . So we reset them and put them in their correct placements now they work perfect. All you have to do is flip the on and off switch. ( I know bc we install gas logs and propane tanks and gas line ). The down side is the steps lol especially when your out of shape like is 😂. But it’s a good work out. Just to flights. But a big difference when toting baggage and maybe update one of the shower heads for better water flow. And LEAVE extra towels ! And the beds are a little stiff for me but just my opinion. BUT OVERALL!!! —- we enjoyed it and loved our stay it was exactly what we wanted and we were not disappointed our 5 day stay was well worth it ! And the kids enjoyed their Christmas vacation. Thank you. And definitely will keep this same unit in mind for another trip to sugar mountain! Also if you want to go tubing else where other then sugar mountain check out hawks nest ! Best Thanksgiving ever!

The place is so well located, enjoyed breakfast while watching skiers going down the slopes! Very comfortable, kitchen is fully equipped, smart tvs enough to keep everyone entertained, even an Atari!!! So many ways to make you feel home: books, board games, dvds, cute bears deco, and the terrace is the best view! We had a wonderful thanksgiving week. Weather was perfect, got to ski, and enjoyed family time. There is a grocery store pretty close and fridge has the perfect size. We had the best coffee and hot chocolate at Fred&Jerry’s coffee in front of Food Lion grocery store. I highly recommend a stop there!

Location Location Location

This was our third stay at Sugar Mountain and our second time in The Branches. This unit was wonderful. Beautiful view of the Easy Street chair lift and beginner run. Unit 14 is located in the building that is located furthest up-slope and when you cross the footbridge over the stream to the beginner run, there is a nice area to sit and put skis on the kids. The unit was decorated nicely and had an Atari 2600 video game system connected to the living room tv. The gas fireplace worked great,,, just flip a switch and you’ve got a fire going 😊 the only thing missing was a big rug in the living room. The kitchen has a new large fridge and a half size oven but since we’ve stayed in an identical size bee branch unit before we were expecting that. Plenty of plates, glasses, silverware, etc. but you’ll need to bring your own pizza cutter if you plan on heating up any frozen pizzas. Bedrooms were carpeted and comfortable with plenty of cabinet space for clothes. Bathrooms were clean and everything operated as normal (great water pressure). My family loved this unit and highly recommended it!!!
