Just ok
We have stayed many places in this area. I was dissapointed in the cabin as it was not as clean as I would have liked and not quite as big as the pictures look. We ended up being comfortable enough but the bathrooms are not stocked well and the upstairs bathroom is very ti ny. The cabin definitely needs a good cleaning.

Beautiful cabin
We enjoyed our stay at Baby Bear Cabin. It was in a nice community and a great location to visit Boone, Banner Elk, Grandfather Mtn, and Blowing Rock. The home was cozy and family/kiddo friendly with games and a fun loft. When we arrived around 7 PM the cabin had not fully been cleaned and the beds were unmade due to a miscommunication between the owner and their cleaner, however, we immediately notified the owner who spoke to the cleaner and they came that evening-they were very responsive, and helpful in resolving this situation. We would stay again!

Our stay Baby Bear Cabin
The cabin was cute as could be. There are 10 beds, which is unusual but great and I felt the price was great. Unfortunately, with 3 families, I was unaware there was zero closets The towels were damp and there were dirty towels left on top of clean towels and sheets, so I did not want to use them. There were clean towels in the bathrooms, but of course we would need more. I asked property manager, Eric, to pls send some clean towels. He sent a lady to CLEAN?? No towels. So she went downstairs and actually got the damp towels with the dirty towels on top and brought them upstairs to us. (???) So, we just washed the towels ourselves. To improve, you might want to let people know where the main switches are located. (Behind refrig that can't be seen). Also explain the party lights outside on porch are automatic (I think?) There was no book explaining procedures of departure. There was a book of places to eat and adventures. Overall, it was a great cabin. We arrived at dark, so we did not realize there was more parking on the other street, and there was no explanation how to get there by car. ( you had to go about a 1/2 mile then turn left on another road and then turn again to get on the street at the bottom of the cabin. The children's afghan upstairs, had jolly ranchers stuck to it, so we washed it. We did enjoy our visit, but I had zero common sense communication with the property manager He knew I could not get email on my phone, but we had spoken and texted

Relaxing time away
I really enjoyed my stay at Baby Bear Cabin. Plenty of beds for people to sleep in, the porches were wonderful to sit and visit, and the house is conveniently located to grocery and local stores. Parking was a small issue due to having an extra car but the property manager was able to fix us with a spot at the rental office. I would rent this location again.
