Sons 18th Birthday

Myself and several of my sons friends stayed for a weekend of snow boarding. Accommodations where great, and the view was awesome. The guys enjoyed the basement level with games and the large screen TV.

Beautiful mountain stay in an incredible home.

Our entire experience was great. Loved the top balcony where my wife, daughter and myself spent most of our time. Our only recommendations would be lights out back by firepit so we could have seen where we were walking when it's dark. Also a little more pots and pans to cook with. We managed but would be easier with more choices. But know we definitely enjoyed the home and would stay again.

Quite, private and 10-15min from Sugar

My Family and I stayed a 3 day weekend in July and enjoyed ourselves. The kitchen was dirty when we checked in but the property manager replied quickly and solved the issues. Home is quite and private. It’s about 10-15 from the center of Sugar Mountain and 20-25 from Banner Elk. Like most mountain homes there is no AC in the house but the house had extra fans to move the cool mountain air around. During the end of July it’s ok but a little warm for me. Using the homes thermostat, I couldn’t get the home under 73 degrees at night with all the windows up. For me, that’s a little warm. I like it around 68-70 when I sleep. I’d recommend for a family or anyone willing to be in a private, quite home were the deer come right up to the front door..

Great Location!

House has a nice split plan, awesome fire pit area outside as well. Views are great, and neighborhood is super quiet and peaceful. Make sure you bring all essentials as none are provided. Must purchase a pass to throw trash out as well (at Fred’s). Overall my family had a great time and we recommend this location to rent :)
