We went with 4 teenagers and it was great that they could come and go as they pleased. Great location for the slopes and the home was just as expected.

Our number one criteria for a place to rent during our spring break was views… We were not disappointed!! The views from this property are by far the best we have stayed at. The property was perfectly comfortable for us and the owners were very quick to answer questions and help us out. Not only were the views spectacular, but we had deer directly on the property every day we were able to watch and enjoy!
Head in the Clouds was the best of everything! Comfortable gathering room big enough for friends to come visit, Lots of beds and amazing views and location. We were
This cute cabin is even better than described! The owner has thought of everything: a well-stocked kitchen, games, comfortable beds, even deer food (we did end up feeding a large group of deer from the balcony which was a big highlight of our trip). The view is incredible and the convenience to the slopes can’t be beat. The owner quickly responded to any questions I had and was very helpful. We will definitely be back again- highly recommmend!
The view did not disappoint! This was our first time off the ski slope. The quiet was so worth the short walk. Having no noise or ice on the vehicle from the blowers was game changer. Just peace and beautiful from the deck, it was so quiet the deer where there daily.
Colleen our host did a wonderful job of communicating with us quickly. The property was very clean with everything we needed for our stay. She even left us a bottle of wine and card for new years. The living room furniture was very comfortable. Beds and linens were very soft and kept us nice and warm. The views from the multiple decks were fantastic! The sun rise on a clear morning is like no other. Could not have asked for a better place to stay on beech mountain. The slopes were just a few feet away. We got to see deer come by the right side of back deck and Colleen provides deer feed in the kitchen closet. The hot tub was very relaxing. We liked all the special touches and like motion activated night lights for getting up at night with no need to hunt a light switch. The bathroom was updated very nicely. The guitar was fun to play on making some nice tunes. Nice touch. Trust me you wont be disappointed if you decide to book here. This is the second stay at one of Colleens Beech Mountain properties and we already are thinking about another trip this year. Thank you Colleen for being a wonderful host and thinking about everything for your guests!Best Regards, Michael
The property is exactly as it appears in the photos! Beautiful and spacious living space upstairs with a wrap-around deck that allows for great sunrise viewing and multiple visits from local deer friends. The fireplace is awesome, the kitchen well appointed with everything you need, and the total space was perfect for our family of four (although more could certainly have been accommodated) Lastly, the location is so perfect! We walked down to Fred's many times, and can see why staying here during ski season would be awesome! Really happy with our choice to stay here and will again soon!
This home was stunning! From the moment you walked it in the catheral ceiling and beams to the stunning view. It only got better when we discovered the toilet seat was heated. Talk about luxury! Colleen was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. She also had great recommendations and we tried the Brick Oven pizza place and it was so good! You won't be dissapointed! The literally thought of everything!
Ahhh so many positive things to say about our stay!
This home is lovely. It was perfect for our family of 4! The view is STUNNING. Truly a panoramic view of mountains whether you are on the fun balcony or cooking in the kitchen. Kids loved the swings on the downstairs porch. We saw so many deer from the patio which was cool.
The location is ideal!! Walking distance to several restaurants, putt putt and arcade for kids, ski rentals, and small grocery store - we loved not having to drive everywhere. So easy and fun for kids and adults.
We skied Beech Mountain and it was perfect!! 5 min drive and so cool to watch the snowboarders and skiers coming down the top of mountain at the house!
Super clean, well stocked, cozy fireplace, nice bathrooms, comfortable beds….I could go on and on!!! It was just perfect. we will stay here again next year without a doubt!
Everything is advertised correctly! Except for the fact that miracles happen here! Right in the living room pictured! We are a large family of 9 and the cabin was perfect! We loved the decks and views! The beds were comfortable! And there were plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. The hosts are available, communicate well and are very accommodating. We experienced a miracle during our stay and will treasure our moments we had at this beautiful cabin.

The place was clean and communication excellent. Comfortable beds and sofa. Lots of nice extra touches, like games and cleaning supplies.
The cabin was immaculate and fully stocked. Everything was well thought out, from the deer feed to the towels for the hot tub to the motion-sensing lights on the stairs. The host was very attentive and responsive.
We had a great weekend in this comfy spot tucked right on top of the mountains. Exceptional views, epic sunrise sighting from above the clouds and well located to the ski hill and a few eateries.
View when you enter and you look through the sliding door is Grandfather mountain with no street or house in front to distract the view. Cabin was perfect.
