"We had a wonderful time visiting Idyllwild and staying eat the cabin. It was much more than we could have hoped for. Extremely clean and cozy. My only bit of advice is watch the driveway. It is NOT for a low car or with snow on the ground. It is very steep. Fortunately I brought my pickup and was able to back out of the driveway. We will be back!"

We especially loved the two separate dining areas; one for the kids and one for adult talk & beverages when needed! We arrived on the day of a big snow storm so we had some challenges getting up the slope to the house—unless you have 4-wheel drive, definitely have your chains and a spare is a must (two families in our party had the first set break). "First off Guy and his staff are amazing. This is our second time visiting. We stayed two nights. Such a peaceful, beautiful place to visit, especially in the winter. Great stone fireplace. Netflix on the Tv. We bbq outside while it was snowing, large snowflakes at that! Our dog loves the place too! Walking distance to the lake or restaurants. "Overall great stay. Clean and comfortable-had everything we needed for the weekend including fresh snow on the day we arrived which was wonderful. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances and necessities. Bedrooms and living room are spacious with extra pillows and blankets. The only issue we ran into was that we ran out of toilet paper on the morning of the last day. We left a little earlier than check out so we could use the facilities somewhere else. So bring a couple extra rolls of your own...

The entrance to front door requires going through steep stairs with some ice on them, so take caution. Rooms and decor a bit dated, but better than...
