Banský Studenec hotels from HK$449

"This is a very posh, small (24 room) 5* hotel, located right in the center of the small town of Banska Stiavnica. We were the only guests that night, because the hotel had blocked reservations to get organized for the summer season (and forgot to block Expedia). The hotel owner was working the desk, and was extremely friendly and helpful. There is convenient and secure parking under the hotel. There are a few tourist attractions in town (most interesting - the mine tour) and there are other...

"Beautiful views, plenty parking, breakfast was satisfactory. We would stay again."

"Nice little hotel, great breakfast, cozy atmosphere, clean, bed a little hard for me but the other 5 family members did not share this concer. Good location. Would definitely come back."

"Cute hotel. Great location. Small but very workable rooms (shower a little awkward)."

"Let's start with the positives. The reception desk and café staff, were incredibly helpful and kind. The room was clean. The dining space was updated and clean and the staff did their best. "Basic 3 star hotel Still you get the feeling of the old communists times Small rooms, basic fornitures Bathroom need some renovation The door on the bottom part was rotten Breakfast average Friendly staff Conveniently located in the main city square "

"We stayed for one night and had a great time. Everybody was very friendly and attentive, food in the restaurant was spot on. Visiting the spa is a must!"

"The hotel is beautiful. Zuzka was wonderful. She was patient, very efficient, kind and her English is excellent, which we really appreciated. Thank you again Zuzka! Hope to see you again! Jessica and the USA band Vio-lence. "

"very good service and communication"

"Clean room, friendly staff, convenient parking. "

"This is a pleasant 3* hotel. Room was fine, but nothing fancy. Our room had a balcony. Parking is under the hotel, and can be reached by the elevator. Hotel is well located - about a block (through a "tunnel") from the central square. Room could have used more lighting. Desk clerk (Lucia) very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again."

"Nice, clean, and big apartment. Close enough to most places to walk or take public transportation."
