“Our family, spanning ages 2 to 65, stayed at Shelburne Lodge for a week and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome from Victoria, the host. She met us at the lodge, gave us a full tour, and was always quick to respond to any questions we had throughout our stay.The lodge itself was perfect for a large family. “This country estate lived up to the photos, and then some. It's on a large piece of property at the end of a long driveway, and feels very secluded. The drive into town was very quick, about 5 minutes as advertised. The house and grounds are very well cared for. There are several huge hydrangea bushes on the property that were in full bloom when we were there (mid-July) that we enjoyed a lot. The three bedrooms were ample for us. The kitchen was well-stocked with all we needed.”
