Acadia Yurts offers visitors the most unique way to stay on Mount Desert Island. Seven fun, eco-friendly Yurts and two Tiny Houses will bring you as close to nature as camping, with all the amenities of home. Located on 5 acres of lovely wooded land, surrounded by Acadia National Park property, Acadia Yurts offer a peaceful retreat for your group (up to 4 guests per 24' Yurt, 6 guests for the 30' Yurt or 2 guests per Tiny House). Acadia Yurts is also ideal for large groups traveling with accommodations for up to 34 people on 1 site.

In addition to yurt or tiny house living, the Wellness Center at Acadia Yurts offers on-site yoga, an infrared sauna and a flotation tank, all available for extra charge. Prices available upon request.

Cozy and immaculate little property with all the things you can ask for in a Maine getaway. The setting was like a tranquil campground. The bedding was really nice loved the down pillows and the shower and kitchen facilities excellent.

Cozy in acadia

Coziest place to stay that is outside the town of Bar Harbor! Lots of trails near bye and we hiked Acadia Mountatin which is 6 minutes away. We did other hikes such as ocean loop, sand beach, thunder hole, otter cliffs, Jordan Pond, south bubble rock! We also drove up to Cadillac mountain to witness the most gorgeous sunset.

My wife and I had the absolute best time in the Beehive tiny house! The entire property is beautiful and the atmosphere couldn’t be better! We’re already planning another trip up next summer.

Really enjoyed my stay

Clean, quiet, and an easy driving distance from all the places I wanted to visit. Extra kudos for booking my massage kind of last minute. I wish there had been firmer pillows, but it wouldn't be fair to lower my rating for that since it seems to be the case everywhere! I will definitely stay here again when I return to the area!

Great location for Acadia NP vacation

Property was exactly as described and very clean. Felt secluded and close to nature. Quiet at night, but still close to the park and some good restaurants. I loved the red barn with items that people could share and laundry on site. Owners were easy to reach and made sure we had what we needed to be comfortable.

Great Get-Away

Perfect relaxing short vacation for us on our 25th Anniversary. Nice and quiet side of Acadia park. 5-minute drive to Echo Lake and Canada cliff trails. Our Tiny house was perfect for us, super clean and perfect size for the both of us. The grounds are kept well maintained and they even have a cute little laundry barn on site. We highly recommend staying here,

A little slice of Heaven

My wife and I loved loved LOVED our stay at Acadia Yurts in the Beehive Tiny House. Our only regret? That we didn’t stay longer. Perfectly located on the "quiet side" of Acadia with access to nearby awesome hikes but still an easy drive to Bar Harbor. Ten stars!!

We absolutely LOVED our stay in the Tiny House!! The amenities were great. We loved being able to wake up every morning and make fresh coffee and breakfast. The property was so peaceful and was a great home base after exploring Acadia all day. There was plenty of space in the tiny house for both of us (6'3" and 5'9") and we never felt too cramped. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We are already looking forward to returning in the future and hopefully bringing along some friends to experience Acadia Yurts with us.

Perfect spot away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor! The space is wonderfully appointed for making breakfast and lunch to go and then chilling in the evening after long hikes.

Great Getaway

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the Beehive Tiny House. It was perfect for the two of us. The kitchen seemed well stocked even though we didn’t make anything but coffee. It was cozy but just right for the two of us. The shower had great water pressure. Everything was clean. The property is very close to many Acadia sites on the Southwest side of Mount Desert Island. It’s about a 20-25 minute drive to the larger side of the park. The Southwest Harbor town is adorable and everyone is so kind. We would stay again in this area!

This place was awesome to stay in for a weekend away! The location and atmosphere was perfect. Very clean and plenty of available amenities. Out of the way of the busy areas of ANP and Bar Harbor but still very central to everything. Overall, this is a great place to stay and we would stay here again.

Amazing stay at the Beehive Tiny House

Me and my wife stayed at the Beehive Tiny House following our wedding for a quick getaway to Acadia. We had an amazing experience. The tiny house and community was so comfy, organized, and the community has many amenities for guests to use. Instructions were very clear and the staff was very responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend to any couple looking to stay close to Acadia.

Beehive Tiny House

5 star accommodation to go along with a 5 star national park! Very clean and modern but with a campground feel as well as relaxing amenities at the wellness center. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit.
