Perfect location for our family vacation in Bar Harbor. Walking distance to everything but on a nice quiet street. House had everything you could need and the softest towels!

Its location is ideal! It's just steps away to a grocery store, a quick walk to downtown Bar Harbor, and a short drive to Acadia NP!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house was even more charming than it looked in the pictures. There were oodles of clean fluffy towels, a very well stocked kitchen (spices, dishes, pots and pans, etc) and we were right in the middle of Bar Harbor. And Jen, the owner, was very helpful and proactive on communications. A great stay!

Loved that we could stay parked at the house and walk to the Bar Harbor restaurants and shops. Very short drive to Acadia National Park. The beds were very comfortable; fluffy towels; well-stacked kitchen (not that we cooked much). One note we left to the hosts was it may be helpful to include a small ice chest for guests to use to bring lunches into the park if interested.

This house is perfectly located for a stay in Bar Harbor. The house was very clean, and well-equipped. It is an old house but has been updated in the kitchen and baths so it is very comfortable, and the owner was very accommodating to our needs. Thanks for a great stay.

Cute New England home with sun porch. We loved this house from the beautiful hardwood floors, to the large kitchen, and the comfortable beds. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. You could not ask for more.

We loved our stay at Honeybee. The location was worth its weight in gold. We only used the car to drive into Acadia. We were able to easily walk to the water, restaurants, and shops. The house was so cute and very clean. We hope to return!

This was truly a great place to stay for our family vacation. Plenty of room for 6 adults to hang out and chill. Super close to a grocery store and in literal walking distance to the wonderful shops and restaurants Bar Harbor has to offer. East check in and check out and Jennifer was super responsive. Always checking in to make sure we had what we needed. Will definitely look for this spot on our next trip to Bar Harbor. Thank you for sharing your home with us! The Hazard/Gonzalez/Johnson families

Had a great stay at the Honey Bee House. The location is convenient to downtown and within a block of the grocery store. The home has everything you need including washer and dryer. Enjoyed the front porch after returning from hiking at Acadia. The home was very clean and as described, would recommend to others.

Our stay with four adults and two kids at the Honeybee House was lovely. It was great to have parking and to be able to walk to the grocery store and town for shopping and eating and ice cream! Having linens and towels (plenty of them!) provided was wonderful, as were all the other little extras- flour and sugar, night lights, etc. The only thing I missed was a water view!

The house is very nice; the owners take excellent care of the property. Even though it's less than a block to Hannaford's for groceries and just a few blocks from downtown Bar Harbor, the house is located on a quiet side street with no through traffic. Everything was clean & neat, and the huge amount of little stuff provided (shampoo, conditioner, soaps, laundry & dishwasher detergent, sandwich bags, plastic & foil wrap, paper towels, spices and other kitchen staples, puzzles, books, guides, maps, etc.) was amazing. The blueberry jam was fantastic!

This home has plenty of room. The pictures are accurate. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything needed, including seasoning, towels, flour, detergents, and sugar. The house was very clean. The couches in the living room are very comfortable. The house is nearly 100 years old and retains its charm even with the renovations. The neighborhood is very quiet, even though the homes are very close together. It is a 1 block walk to the grocery store and a few blocks to town. It is a short two block walk to the start of the Bar trail. The three bedrooms and one bath are upstairs. The second bathroom is on the ground floor just off the kitchen. The laundry is in the basement. We were very pleased with this rental and would stay here again. The owner quickly responded to a minor need on the first day, and after that we had no issues or problems. We were very pleased here.

Two families shared this home for a summer adventure- this is probably the best vacation rental house I've ever stayed in. The owners have thoughtfully provided every item you could possibly need, which is helpful when you fly into town and can't bring the basics like shampoo, laundry detergent, spices, Ziplock bags, extra toilet paper, etc! It really felt that our comfort was important, and that means so much. There were also 2 large bathrooms available, which is important for a large group of people. They also included small air conditioners in each bedroom, so you could adjust the temperature to your comfort level for sleeping (we are from the south, and couldn't imagine staying somewhere without an A/C- and the temps were unusually warm during our stay, so we were thankful!). There is a washer and dryer available in the basement (which is the cleanest and best organized basement I've ever seen!). Now about the location... absolutely wonderful! There is a grocery store less than a block away, which meant we didn't have to plan too far ahead on meals. One of us could quickly run out for breakfast ingredients and be back within 10 minutes :) We could easily walk everywhere through the town- we only moved our cars when we drove to Acadia- and there were 2 parking spots available, so no searching on the streets of Bar Harbor. All said, the Honeybee House was wonderful and I highly recommend it!

Honey Bee house was a great place to stay! The house was clean and comfortable and conveniently located. We walked downtown every day and shopped for groceries at the supermarket at right behind the neighborhood. Jen was wonderful about checking in before and during our stay. I would definitely stay at Honey Bee House again!

Honeybee is the perfect location for exploring Bar Harbor and everything it offers. The 2 parking spaces are highly valuable! It’s in a quiet neighborhood, so maybe don’t invite the loud friend or family member, at least not if you like to hang outside in the evening. All in all we had a great stay! The only reason it didn’t earn 5 stars for me was due to the quality of beds, but I have really high standards.

The location was nice. Close to grocery and walk to town. Neighbors across the street were very nice The couches may have been replaced since last year and hope they were as they need to be. Sank into a hole / sat very low and weren’t comfortable. Had to go to Walmart to buy a fry pan as the pans there are old and dented up, rusty and looked gross and didn’t want to use them. The clam steamer pot only had one handle. Washer and dryer were down a narrow flight of old steps in the basement. Not HE but worked. I asked so I could bring correct detergent, if they were HE and Jen “couldn’t remember” if they were or weren’t. Just disappointing overall for what it cost to rent. Was not cleaned up outside - weeds galore. Sun porch faced the sun all day so was extremely hot and couldn’t enjoy being out there during the day. The top bunk bed was not made up, which was one if the reasons we stayed there, so my daughter and grandaughter could share the room but have separate large beds. Jen said I should have contacted her, but why wouldn’t it just have been made up? Again, just didn’t live up to the expectations of what was advertised versus what was there.
