Great spot about a breakfast restaurant. Good location close to things in Bar Harbor, but still not in the middle of hustle/bustle zones. We liked it being a little quieter than some areas closer to the main district. Easy to get to Acadia, and still walkable to a grocery store.

Charming spot, delicious breakfasts, and great location

We were very happy with our two rooms at Two Cats Inn. The rooms were cute and comfortable, we loved the included delicious - and generous - breakfasts, and the location within walking distance of central Bar Harbor was perfect.

Noisy property, restaurant and working residents. Not welcoming entry area in back area, no lighting. Restaurant provided breakfast graciously, was nice.

Great location! 5 Stars

Location in Bar Harbor is amazing. Checkin was super easy and the room was exactly as advertised. The room comes with one dedicated parking space which was probably the most convenient perk! Breakfast was great and highly recommend the salmon omelette or French toast.

Check in was very smooth. Very clean. Convenient to everything. Parking was easy. Blanket in the living room would have been nice. A little noisy early in the AM.

Waking up to the aroma of coffee and breakfast cooking makes this little gem even more special ! Great location and free breakfast!

The Georgia room was in a great location in Bar Harbor. Walking distance to most restaurants and shopping. Our stay included a free breakfast in the restaurant below our room. The breakfast was amazing! We tried something new each day. Room was clean and check in process was easy.

This is a one bedroom apartment with two bathrooms (bedroom has a large bathroom with a shower that has excellent water pressure; the other bathroom has a claw foot tub, but no showerhead). The complementary breakfast is truly outstanding. Really good food and good service. I also really appreciated the friendly and surprisingly international staff. The location is outstanding (highly recommend the French restaurant Brasserie Le Brun, just down the street, which has become my new favorite Bar Harbor restaurant). The decor of the apartment is lovely. Note: I'd call the kitchen a 'kitchenette', since there is no oven and no dishwasher. The kitchen space features two glass top burners with a mini fridge and limited countertop space. That said, there is a good selection of pots and pans for the space. I'd recommend that the owners invest in some strategic shelving to expand their dishware. I cooked a dinner for three in the space and it was a bit challenging, but I made it work. Given the limited counterspace, we opted to towel dry the dishes after dinner, since there is limited space for a dry rack situation. I'd say this space is perfect for a couple who are not planning to do much by the way of cooking during their stay. The staff are very responsive to inquiries. There is a sofa bed in the living room. I slept there while my friends stayed in the bedroom. The sofa mattress is thin, but it is adequate. There is a designated parking spot adjacent to the room.

Georgia Room

What a great place. We enjoyed our stay in the Georgia room. The description of room doesn’t really do it justice. It’s like an apartment. The food is amazing. Breakfast is definitely their thing. The blueberry pancakes are to die for. The responsiveness of the owner Was so great. We had a small issue with the TV and he offered to replace it right then in there. And as we checked out, he was doing that and sent us a picture. Lol overall great experience. Would definitely recommend.

Mom and Daughter getaway

My mom and I stayed in The Georgia Room at the Two Cats and absolutely loved our stay! The apartment was perfect for the two of us and I will also add the pullout sofa was the best I’ve ever slept on. We had our own parking spot and check in was seamless. I cannot say enough about how DELICIOUS our breakfast was. I got a different omelet everyday and each one was more delicious than the previous! We even took our biscuits over to Ocean Path Trail for a mid hike snack :) The breakfast was so filling we only snacked lightly the rest of the day minus the evening we had our lobster dinner. My mom plans to bring my dad back to the Two Cats Inn next fall again! Highly recommend !!

Our first stay in Bar Harbour

This is very well maintained property. We stayed in Georgia room. It has 1 large bedroom with attached bathroom( bathtub with shower). Living room had guest bathroom with a bathtub. Also a sofa with bed. Full kitchen and well equipped. Location of property is unbeatable. Property is located on top of restaurant owned by same owner. Our price included free breakfast at that restaurant. I think this has been the best breakfast I have ever had. Saved almost $100 everyday on breakfast everyday. Free on site parking is great at parking is expensive and hard to find in town. Everything is very walkable from site.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the 2 Cats. The idea of being able to walk to all things Bar Harbor was nice. The space was very roomy in that it was actually like a small apartment. We had one assigned parking spot. The breakfast downstairs at the restaurant was spectacular. Eat the blueberry pancakes and the french toast. Check in was very simple and communication with the host was timely.
