We loved our stay at the Holbrook House! The owners were delightful and very helpful. The breakfast they prepared each day was PHENOMENAL. We loved the proximity to town. The only thing I would change is fresh towels every day, but I understand how it could be difficult to keep up with that much laundry every day when they're already going above and beyond in every other category. Overall, the Holbrook House is EXACTLY what I picture when I think of a perfectly quaint and well-run B&B!

We had a wonderful week-long stay here. Breakfast was delicious, coffee readily available. Short walk downtown and easy access to Acadia. Clean, beautiful and cozy accommodations.

We loved it! And the blueberry french toast was to die for! The best thing we ate on our trip besides lobster. The hosts were very accommodating to our late arrival and even called me to get our breakfast order while we were on a whale watching trip! That's service!

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Michelle, Eric, and the rest of the staff were outstanding! They even brought flowers to our room for my wife's birthday! The food was stellar (even for someone with celiac disease), the rooms were great, and the location is easily walkable to main street without being overrun with other vacationers. I would highly recommend staying here! Thank you all for making our trip wonderful!

The Inn has a charming atmosphere both inside and out and very helpful staff. Erik helped orient us and provided us some excellent recommendations for meals and how to best navigate Acadia. The food was delicious and the servings were large. The Inn itself is a short walk to Main Street and the water, while a few blocks away from the huddle bustle, making it the perfect place to stay. Overall very high marks for them. I’d highly recommend this place for your stay in Bar Harbor.

It was a treat to stay at this property during our trip to Acadia National Park! The accommodations were very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. Beautifully maintained old mansion close to everything in Bar Harbor. Highly recommend!

Holbrook House is absolutely wonderful. From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. Holbrook House has everything you will need for your visit to the Bar Harbor area. Friendly owners Eric and Michelle are always ready to suggest restaurants, sights, and shopping throughout Mt. Desert Island. The delicious breakfast can't be beat along with beautiful rooms, living spaces, and well maintained outdoor sitting areas with beautiful flowers.
Holbrook House, located on Mt. Desert St, sits in the perfect location as it is only a few minutes walk to the Bar Harbor Village Green for shopping, restaurants, and amazing views. This location also allows for a short drive to the beautiful Acadia National Park.
We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Bar Harbor.
