My husband and I loved the Blue Nose Inn lobby. On cold, rainy days we would go in and grab some hot chocolate and work on the jigsaw puzzle in the sitting area. It was really beautiful.

This hotel has many wonderful features! It feels like an old time resort, with a wonderful restaurant that overlooks Bar Harbor. The views from the room were wonderful and the pianist in the bar was a treat! Acadia is right next-door, and you can walk to town. It was awesome!

The on-site amenities were excellent. The distance to downtown was a 20 min walk downhill. The walk was uphill on the way back.

The rooms need a refresh, windows and doors got stuck and needed some elbow grease to open and close them. The location was great- very short walk to town and the carriage trails for biking.

The property was wonderful, so close to downtown. The room was clean & the staff was very helpful & knowledgeable about the area. The Looking Glass restaurant was very good, especially the view & outdoor options! However, the highlight of our stay was enjoying Bill Trowell nightly at the hotel piano bar. He was fantastic!

It was handy using the shuttle to Bar Harbor all day and 20 minute walk to Bar Harbor on the Ocean side. Pool, sauna, etc were part of the hotel next door.

Hotel was within walking distance to downtown, 15-20 mins. There was a free shuttle bus that ran every 15-30 mins to take you downtown. The room was very clean, cozy, and cute. Highly suggest!

Great views of harbour, easy walking distance to Main Street with plenty of bars restaurants. We ate in the thirsty whale was very reasonable in price. The bus stops at the hotel which links to the free buses to take you to Acadia national park. Very nice place to stay.
