“no allocated parking and basically had to run down stairs when someone moved their car to get a decent spot. remainder of cars had to park on the road. car park was dimly lit which is scary for an older single female. grey slate stairs to get to upstairs room were also dimly lit and quite dagerous for visually impaired people. panel wall heater would not work and no electric blanket but fortunately i had my own heater in the car”

“The cheap price was the main reason we chose to stay at the Grand Oaks, although I don't know if I would've booked there, had I known it's on the same property as the old (haunted) asylum. My husband thought it was hilarious, and I, admittedly was a little scared at first but the room was cozy, so felt safe inside. The room was tiny but big enough for us and we could unfortunately hear every single noise our neighbours made, including some serious snoring, throughout the night. Overall the Oaks……

“The facility was fine. The air conditioning was nice. The car park was spacious. It was near to the beautiful park and the shopping mall. The restaurants were easy accessible. Even though a full kitchen was not provided, the toaster, microwave oven and the fridge were very helpful. ”

“The location of the hotel is very central and within a 5 minute walk to the main shopping strip in Albury. The hotel room was ok however definitely needs a more thorough clean in the bathroom as there was mould around the bath. Close to all the attractions you need and a great place to base yourself out of!”

“From the road it looks just like another hotel . But once you enter the hotel room you will be happy you stayed here. As the owner has updated the rooms and the bathroom areas are both modern and very clean. The owner has done an excellent job making these rooms very relaxing space to unwind after travelling.”
