We were enthralled with the location, the villa itself, the garden and pool area, in fact, the whole experience has left us with lots of wonderful memories, memories that we shall cherish, forever... The delightful host, Chris, was there to greet us and to show us around, he left us a fabulous 'welcome box' full of local goodies and a lovely chilled bottle of wine. "Arriving late at night the property is not easy to find a labyrinth of paths and steps to navigate in the dark ! The property is well equipped but could do with a new mattress on the double bed and the air conditioning in the main room needs maintenance as it kept cutting out and not maintaining a cool temperature! The shower outlet needs to be cleaned out so that it drains away rather than coming back up the drain in the floor! Barbati has good restaurants and supermarkets supply essentials...

Not for the elderly though due to difficult access. (We are 70 and 75). Would have appreciated knowing about parking only being available on the road in front."

Anastasia was a fabulous host & was always available if we needed something - either on WhatsApp or at the property. We stayed in one of the Grand Suites in Mid-April 2024. The rooms were clean & full of little touches you’d expect in a 5 star property. They even left dishwasher tablets just in case you needed to use it. "This place is absolutely fantastic. The view is amazing, rooms are very clean. Anything you ask, they are more than happy to help you with. Host was very nice. Quite beach within walking distance (beautiful walk, stairs too), but a larger beach with shops and restaurants is less than 10min drive. One of the best vacations ever, and we travel a lot. "Overall was good but for a 4 stars hotel I’m expecting more. They could give welcoming water in room, They gave coffee pods only the first day and then no more, housekeeping never washed our coffee cups we used the first day, they left the coffee cup dirty during all our stay.
