had a wonderful experience with Landsborough Lodge Motel! I accidentally left my makeup kit behind, and they were kind enough to post it back to me at no charge. I really appreciate their honesty and great customer service. Highly recommended! The aircon was noisy though.

A clean and comfortable room with friendly experience from the staff. While the dining room of the on-site restaurant wasn't open, room service was provided at no extra fee, win-win. Located a very short drive from the main street of town. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Landsborough Lodge to others passing through Barcaldine.

We arrived at 4pm after a 9 hour drive, stood in the office for 25 minutes ringing bells and pressing buzzers before a young man emerged looking like he'd just climbed out of bed. Got into our family room to find one of the single beds was broken in half like a banana. We decided not eat at the restaurant after looking at the menu and the eye watering prices, so we bought meat to cook on the stove top. The stovetop however was broken and was smoking so badly that we turned it off incase it caught alight. The oven was working so we ended up cooking our meat in that. The kids went for a swim in the pool, it was full of leaves and there was no furniture there for anyone supervising. We have stayed at Landsborough Lodge many times over the past 12 years, this was the worst stay we've had yet. The upside was that the room was nice & clean, and it's a pet friendly motel.
