Great location
The studio is in a great location, with an amazing entryway view! Really central to all tourist stuff in Barcelona. It was very quite when we stayed there. The staircase is a bit crazy, but everything is great. Loved our stay.The booking through vrbo was stressful though. Vrbo doesn’t charge your card, the property manager does. That’s fine, but I had to call Vrbo to confirm that the email with a charge I got was ok to pay. The email also charged a different amount than the one agreed on Vrbo, once I called the property manager they told me the tourist fee was included on the total amount. That’s ok because the description does say that the tourist fee wasn’t included. I asked for a receipt which they messaged me on whatsapp that they will give me after the stay.Getting closer to the stay, the property manager asked me to finish the check in process using their not very good web page. To finish the check in you have to choose a time and they charge 30 to be paid to the person that gives you the key. This fee is not described on Vrbo. The person who checked us in was very gracious and answered all my questions. She/He wasn’t aware that we had payed the tourist fee already. Needing to make a phone call to the property manager to confirm. We really liked the place, but just wished the booking, payment and check in was more straight forward.
