The property definitely needs a facelift as it is showing a lot of wear and tear. Staff is excellent and helpful. Unfortunately the cleaning staff is not the greatest!

We had a wonderful experience at the Olivia Hotel. The location was perfect- very easy to walk to Las Ramblas, the Gothic District and the beaches. The staff was excellent- we truly appreciate the kindness of Alejandro, who checked us in and answered all of our questions. Nice, clean rooms and a lovely breakfast.

Hotel staff (front desk, restaurant/bar, greeters) were SUPER helpful and really friendly. Location is phenomenal!!!!! We had a near-perfect stay, but housekeeping didn't always clean our room timely, and we ran out of toilet paper, body wash, and towels.

This was my second time staying here. Location is absolutely perfect. Both times I've had a room with a view of the square and the windows are really large. Rooms are spacious for European city centre hotel, tasteful furnishings, decor and lighting. Everything I had at breakfast was great. There were some nice little service touches, such as a teapot for the tea drinkers like myself. Unfortunately I fell ill during my time in Barcelona but the staff were very kind in offering to help me which was appreciated. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
