“We’ve just returned from a two-day New Year’s break with three other families, and we had a fantastic time. The layout of the barn at Oakenshaw is perfect for groups and families, giving everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy being together.The barn itself is ideal for a celebration or get-together, and we certainly made the most of the facilities — especially the bar, pool table, and the generous space for fun family games.On the second night, we really enjoyed using the fabulous kitchen……

“The cottage was new, so it was beautiful, clean, and well looked after. Set in the countryside it was very quiet. It was like a home from home and very comfortable. The only downside was the ticking clock in the bedroom and the heat pump, which kicks in at all times during the night. With it being so quiet outside these sounds were magnified and we haven’t come away feeling refreshed. If anything we feel more tired. Beautiful place but the above 2 reasons will stop us returning. ”
