"We drove up north to the Flume Gorge, Littleton, and the Kanc highway. Then we drove south to Concord/Lexington, MA to do the Minuteman trail. We also drove east into Vermont. We picked apples, did the rail rider and collected many colorful leaves. The house was centrally located and was a very comfortable place to come ‘home’ to every evening. We really enjoyed our stay and would come again!"

"The house was as pictured a family cottage by the lake. The owner was nearby and was friendly and my children had a fantastic time swimming, kayaking, and fishing. It was a nice relaxing family vacation. Would recommend the house to offers who want to just get away, relax, and unwind."

"This our second year at Cape Guinevere, and once again we had a wonderful stay. The house is cozy and well equipped, and really just perfect for our family to gather for meals, walks around Lancelot Shores, and of course for fires around the fire pit. It is close to Rochester and stores but we felt like we had our own private getaway in the woods. We’d go back again in a heartbeat!"

"We loved staying in Cabin 5! We were a little wary of the exterior shower house when booking, but it really is just a few steps away from all cabins and was clean each time we used it. We’d love to come back with extended family and rent out a few cabins together."

"We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend. We appreciated the owner's thoughtfulness evidenced throughout the cabin from the dog toys and bowls to the children’s games and books. Our hot cocoa welcome gift was a nice surprise on the chilly Thanksgiving weekend! We enjoyed that in front of the cozy gas fireplace. Highly recommended."

The location was perfect for my teen children — they loved the kayaks, the small swimming area, and the location. They could walk to town for ice cream and have a little independence.
