Horrible experience
No address given, no directions to the cabin. The photo did no justice to the actual property. Overrun with weeds, no inside electrical, musty smelling. The roof was covered with pine needles and moss ( a good recepie for fire). I am a partially disabled veteran, I found it difficult just to get to the cabin much less carry overnight items down to it. In the photo, the cabin looked cozy and welcoming but the reality was totally different. I ultimately decided we could not safely stay there so we went elsewhere and rented a hotel room. I asked for a refund but no response from the host. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS CABIN!!! IT SHOULD BE REMOVED FRON ANY LISTINGS JUST FOR SAFETY'S SAKE.

I should have read the reviews before I booked this. My confirmation stated that the host would contact me with registration information and/or entry codes. I never received any contact info, and I felt that this was just the beginning of a nightmare. After driving all night, I couldn’t find the cabin and I didn’t want to go through what the other reviewers described, so I checked into a real hotel, took a hot shower and slept in freshly washed sheets. Lesson learned: The website endorsed everyone - good and bad and they don’t use the guest ratings to disqualify bad hosts and properties.

Can’t find
The cabin is in the middle of nowhere…the address brings you to a house with no cabin visibly in sight and with no instructions on how to get to it. Reached out to the owner several times as far as checking in, etc and took forever to get a response (had to call VRBO several times and they reached out as well) his response was that it was unlocked and just walk on in. This is a sketchy listing. Save yourself some money and do mot book.

We are going to need a refund on this rental. We tried to get hold of the owner at the listed number four times for how to get a key. No reply. We show up at the address, it was a house with multiple cars, obviously not a rental. We literally couldn’t find it at the adress, and the owner would not reply to any contact.

The area around cabin was unsafe. The port-a-potty was not disclosed. The area had high grass and not safe for my 90 year old mother to walk around area. There was no burn pit. The ad was deceptive. I will be contacting my credit card company and Expedia about all this.
