This is a room in a 2nd floor place (no elevator, narrow stairs) with air-conditioning, a comfortable bed and a private bathroom. "Teh attached restaurant was good - for both breakfast and an evening meal, and the staff were very approachable and friendly. The room was fairly basic and a bit old and worn looking. The sofa bed our children slept on sagged badly and they rolled into the middle so not the best night's sleep. I didn't stay in any other hotels in Male so can't compare but this felt a little underwhelming to me for the price. "

"Stayed 6 days in Sunset villa on halfboard. It is a shaded 5mins stroll to Gallery Restaurant for daily breakfast and dinner. 3mins stroll along the beach to Dive centre. Highly recommended. Breakfast and dinner were buffet-style and refill was always fast. We only ate lunch at Huvan, which is behind the dive centre, facing the beach. Lobster, prawns and calamari were good. Service staff always polite and friendly. Villa was spacious witn unblocked sea view. Spotted a dolphin one afternoon. At night, there are lights facing the water below so we watched pufferfishws, stingrays and fishes. And many stars above."

"The restaurants (not the buffet) had delicious food. The breakfast buffet was also very good. There were a couple common drinks not available to order and I thought the swimming at the over water villas should be open the same time as the pool. The transport there and back was a bit pricey. Everyone was friendly and the excursion we did was great. We also enjoyed the music at the dance parties. "
