「I made a late day reservation at this hotel while traveling through Newbridge. When I arrived the front desk host was incredibly friendly and she informed me that she had upgraded me to a suite. I thought maybe that meant a couch/living area in addition to a bedroom but I was wrong - it was the bridal suite! I had my own little apartment! 「Beautiful old house with large bedroom. Very comfortable bed (one of the best out of 14 hotels) which was much needed due to the jet lag. Wonderful staff and walkable village shops and pubs 」

「It was amazing dinner and breakfast and we are enjoying at talbot Carlow hotel and there is swimming and sauna and hot deep box and bowling next door and foods shopping over road and shame as we have not got time to do at gym oh never mind and the manager and staff are helpful and friendly and thank you to them for hard work and bed help us comfort sleep and smile 👍😇thank you again 」

「From the moment we arrived til the time we left all staff we met made a big positive impact with our stay. Check in, bar, dining and service staff were great. As we are on an extended trip of 3 months staff changed our room to thd lower floor so we didn't have to lug our suitcases upstairs. We had a lunch and a dinner and both were wonderful and well priced.」

「Gave a perfect 5*️⃣ because the hotel was amazing. If you are a woman be wary of walking into town after dark as I was catcalled by several drunk men. Not the hotel’s fault though and it was a 25-ish min walk away. 」
