“You will not be disappointed with what you see once you see inside the doors. Beautifully decorated and everything you need, but... it is more like a modular 4-apartment home / b&b - no ocean view, at the end of a dirt road (lots of dust), but a few deer met us as we unpacked. We were skeptical at first, yet pleasantly surprised with our stay. I highly recommend, so long as your expectations are set.”

“This cute little studio stay is located at Bunker’s Restaurant. It was safe, quiet and comfortable. It was neat to watch the lobster boats come in the evening. Alicia checked in with us and was great. She is doing some improvements to the property and it looks like it will be even better. ”

“Great place, comfortable and clean. My father slept in the bedroom and said the bed was pretty comfortable. My husband and I slept on the pull out sofa, it wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped but it was suitable for a night. A curtain on the door would be nice for people who sleep on the pullout sofa, the light coming from the streetlamp across the street is quite bright. ”

“Loved being within walking distance of everything in town! We used the car only to go up to Acadia and walked everywhere else. Showers were hot and bed was comfortable. I don’t know if it was the bed or the walking, but it was the best sleep I’ve had in quite awhile. Must be happiness!”

“Technically the drive time to hikes in Acadia National park are really 25 minutes away from the property. It didn’t bother me too much because driving and seeing the views of Maine is beautiful. My room met my needs especially for the price. However there were lots of lady bugs alive and dead that I was sharing the space with lol. I was waking up at 6:30-7:00am due to the traffic of people driving along the road but I was starting my morning early anyways but just wanted to note for others. I……

“The space was perfect for us. It was lovely and super convenient both for classes at WoodenBoat School and hikes at Acadia.”

“Nice new apartment upstairs of the garage. It’s a spacious single room (except the bathroom of course), nicely laid out with pleasant lighting through windows looking out towards the trees. The “kitchen” is minimal: a dorm-sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven, water kettle and coffee maker. Sufficient for our needs but not enough for an extended stay. Given that the rental is a one-room studio with laminate flooring, the pet fee seemed a bit steep, but the apartment itself was a good bargain……

“We had a great stay – the home was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The check-in process was smooth, and communication was prompt and helpful throughout.One small suggestion for improvement would be to consider adding a few basic pantry essentials like seasoning and sugar. We couldn’t find those during our stay, which would have been helpful especially for making coffee in the mornings.Other than that, everything was excellent and we really enjoyed……
