“This hotel has an amazing spot on the beach. The only drawback was the lack of a view from our room. The room was large and comfortable and the staff were delightful. Despite the lack of light/view in the room it does offer a number of beach facing seating areas and a fantastic breakfast ”

Music playing till well past midnight, dogs barking all night, the staff was sitting outside our room talking and playing videos on their phone very late. Construction of a new hotel just next to us which started work at 07:00, the staff was also brushing and cleaning outside from very early hours, and the room has no soundproofing, it was getting comical just how much noice could come from one place at one point. “Lovely room & pool. Staff were great & amazing location”

“I was very unhappy with this accommodation, which we paid £200 per night. On arrival the hotel staff and checking was very nice, our room was on the fourth floor via the lift and very, very steep stairs to the room. The bathroom was awful totally open to the outside world view with plastic curtain which kept blowing around in the wind, when you were trying to take a shower. This wasn't shown in photo's on your website or mention in the description to this room. Also no desk in the room, or……

“We were given an upgrade...very thankful for the huge room. Great air conditioning unit..plus fans. Staff were all happy and helpful. A special thank you to Isuru from the Rooftop Restaurant and Bar. He helped me choose the right Sri Lankan option at breakfast...it was fantastic and a lot of food...all superbly cooked by the chefs. Pool on the Rooftop with Spectacular views of the Hiriketiya Beach. Also to watch the daily antics of the local monkeys. Location 100mtrs to the beach. Lots……

“The house was beautiful with wonderful sea views and very well kept and homely. Quality room. Location was mixed as very close to the blowhole attraction, one small Beach with coral and over longer bay with quiet waves; however it's a long way from a supermarket, bus stop or restaurant and up some rocky steps uphill which was difficult for my partner who was using crutches. We enjoyed the food cooked by our host who was lovely but did not speak great English, and so there was confusion over……
