「The "apartment" we had rented on the first floor was "unavailable" so they have us the whole upstairs. There was no way to secure the upstairs had anytime been in the apartment below. However, no one was on that apartment during our stay l, luckily. It was basically a frat house vibe upstairs, it was 10 degrees overnight and the heat couldn't keep up. We froze while we slept. Not to mention the scurrying in the attic I heard when I was using the bathroom. Should not be listed on hotels.com.」

「My family and friends have been staying here every year. The house is very cozy and has great amenities, The lakeside location is beautiful! Kayaks are available for a paddle on the lake. There is also fire pit lakeside to enjoy in the evening. The house has an on demand water heater so everyone has a hot shower at the end of the day. We are so happy we have been able to make this house our home one weekend a year.」

「Cindy is a really wonderful host and was so helpful. Even before we arrived she contacted me to make sure I could find the property. She even gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy a long with many excellent restaurant and winery recommendations. The home itself is very cozy with a beautiful view of the lake. Fireplace is warm. Kitchen is large with all the cookware needed. Walmart is 5 minutes away for any supplies. Watkins Glen hike was made so much better by staying here. Highly recommended.」

「Had plenty of room for all 6 guests. 7 would have been a okay too, we had a last minute cancellation. Host accommodated late check out for us since one of our guest fell the day before and broke her foot and we were waiting for a return call from the physician. 「We would give this 10 stars if possible. Cannot say enough good things about this place. There is nowhere like this, if you are looking at this listing and it is available, book it now. We can't wait to check it out in every season. Winter was especially wonderful for the hot tub. We were fortunate to get a clear night and had a beautiful view of the stars. Christina is a wonderful host who has gone above and beyond to make a very special getaway.」

「The apartment was clean and neat. Check-in was easy. Owner was very helpful. The unit is in a safe and quiet neighborhood . The unit has a double security entrance so it is well suited to a solo traveler. Within two miles of the unit there are multiple restaurants, (try Mooneys for great mac & cheese) shops, and a large Wegman's grocery store. The Corning Museum is very close.」
