A lovely cottage, beautifully decorated, we really enjoyed our stay. It's in a good location for Battle, Hastings and Rye, but the road itself is quite busy and noisy, which we could hear from the cottage. The close proximity to the other cottage means if the windows are open you can hear everything and they can hear you. We value privacy and a rural location on holiday and we didnt find this as we expected to. Thus aside, the cottage and the views over the fields were lovely. What a beautiful place this is! We absolutely loved our 5 day break during the hottest period of August Thank goodness we took our paddling pool! Facilities, attention to detail, cleanliness, peace and quiet, beautiful countryside and proximity to so many great beaches and places of interest. I can’t recommend Castiemans Stables highly enough. The Queens Head in Sedlescombe is quite frankly one of the prettiest pubs with the best food I have ever been to. Dog friendly too! Would definitely return with no hesitation. We had a lovely week here - lovely decor that's as lovely as it is in the pictures.

We had a lovely week here - lovely decor that's as lovely as it is in the pictures. It was spotless and we had a generous and thoughtful basket of goodies for us and the dogs. The enclosed garden made it a stressfree stay for our dogs too. Beautiful views and great location for beach walks. We explored Battle, Hastings, Rye & Camber Sands. We would highly recommend the Stables.

This is the third time we have stayed at Castlemans. The cottages are beautifully clean, warm and welcoming. Ideal for a holiday with your four legged friends with a secure outside area.
