"1. Ventilation is inadequate and, as the flat has a southern exposure, it was uncomfortably warm and stuffy throughout the day and night, despite my best efforts - the bedroom included. 2. Noise and air pollution from traffic - the flat faces two streets that have heavy traffic during rush hour, and enough traffic through the night to prevent me, in combination with problem 1, from falling, and staying, asleep. 3. La vue sur les champs à l’arrière du bâtiment est superbe: couché de soleil sur un océan de verdure. Top Baudre Hotel Reviews

Hôtel Château Saint-Gilles - Bayeux

Hôtel Château Saint-Gilles - Bayeux

10/10 Excellent
"I gave this hotel a five-star rating in every category without hesitation. I can honestly say that this is one of the finest hotels I've ever stayed in. No detail is left unattended, no question by staff or request unanswered, no disappointment in food quality, and obviously, no maintenance deferred in the facility or spacious grounds and rooms. This is a sign of outstanding management and careful selection of staff. I heartily recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to get away from the busyness of life and the chaos in our current fast-paced environment. I especially suggest it for peace and the appreciation of elegance and beauty and everything being as it should be. for me, it was the perfect place for a base for Normandy World War II sight and museum visits."
