"Our family absolutely loved Hale House! Not only is it incredibly well located, it is also very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well appointed with anything that you might need and cleanliness throughout the house is remarkable. From this old house with modern standards, you can observe the ferry and Madeline Island from most windows as well as enjoy a secluded woodsy backyard. "

"Amazing space! I traveled alone to enjoy the snow. This location was perfect to walk the town, to meals, coffee and even the Brookestone trail. I left my car parked the entire weekend. The hot tub was PERFECT!!! I took a lot of baths while I was there which was a good mix with hiking, yummy meals and relaxation. Hope to stay there again "

"The location of the Guest House was perfect! Everything in downtown Bayfield was walkable, but removed enough where it was still private. The Superior Suite was spacious for my husband and me. The sitting room was perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!"
