Our hotel stay was enjoyable and relaxing. Bazas is 10 mins walk and offers lots of historic buildings, plenty of dining options. Be careful to check restaurant openings in advance as many choose to close on the same weekdays.

A traditional upscale French country lodging.

We totally enjoyed almost everything about this property. The location, the ease to find and all the amenities. The staff super nice, the pool and steam a great treat after a long day. The restaurant for breakfast is very good, lots of selection. The dinner on the other hand was lack luster with options that that were limited. Nothing for a non meat eater and the service was confusing. overall I highly recommend and its great value.

Disappointing stay. Despite our having reserved two rooms well in advance of our stay, the hotel failed to provide us with adjoining rooms, (the rooms provided were actually on different floors). Having stayed at this hotel several times in the past, we had expected better service. No recognition of our being “returning guests” was expressed and staff members we encountered did not seem interested in providing an acceptable level of customer service. Rooms & some of the guest facilities were not well cleaned. Stained carpets in the room. Bad smell in the room, (“BO”?) and in some public spaces, (I.e. the hallways). Poor shower water pressure. Nice, large, comfy bed. Nice views from the room window. Quiet location with nice outdoor seating and well maintained gardens. OK for a one night stay. But quite far from everything. Nice breakfast service. Nice pool.

Superbe parc et hotel très bien situé, très proche du centre ville. Excellent rapport qualité prix, un seul bémol sur le restaurant qui est très en dessous du standard de cet hotel. Personnel accueillant et très disponible. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir bientôt.

Très bon séjour

Séjour de 4 nuit à la base mais réduit à 3 nuit. L’accueil et la souplesse de modifier au top. Le restaurant et génial et le personnel et très agréable et attentionné. J’ai pu prendre des plateaux repas sans problème et c’est très agréable quand on doit travailler le soir.

Séjour confortable dans un hôtel toujours au top. Petit déjeuner fantastique. Petits détails qui pourraient être améliorés pour se maintenir au top : arrosage + engrais plantes piscine intérieure - remettre bac a serviettes et peignoirs à l'espace pool - changer les cactus (desséchés) du billard - petite bouteille d'eau offerte en chambre - bombons au comptoir accueil.

Very Old hotel

Very old run down hotel. The carpets were super old, although our room was clean. Certainly not a place of my choice, but probably because it was one of the only hotels in the vicinity.
