The host was wonderful and very responsive. She even offers extended check out which was great. The listing could be a bit more detailed on the apartment. It appears to be a place to rent rooms but the whole apartment was offered. There is a camera IN the apartment which was very uncomfortable as I felt like I could not get comfortable for the time I was there and being watched I could not enjoy the living room. Other than that I have no complaints.

Great little hotel in an amazing location. The room was clean and spacious. Beds and pillows were excellent. Very comfortable. Restaurants within walking distance and shops nearby. Hotel staff were exceptional. Elevators are a little slow but it’s a historic location and to be expected. Will absolutely stay again. Wonderful stay.

My Favorite Hotel in New York City! PUBLIC is hands down my favorite hotel in New York City! The location is fantastic, the staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I absolutely love the beautifully designed rooms and stunning views. The rooftop bar is another highlight, with a great atmosphere and spectacular views of the city. The hotel has such a stylish, vibrant energy while still feeling comfortable and inviting. Always a pleasure to stay here, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!
