「The park, the trails, and the sights are beautiful and well worth a visit. The lodge and facilities are not. The lack of state funding for the property shows, which is unfortunate and sad. 「DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU HAVE EITHER A TRUCK OR SUV WITH 4WD. The road to the cabin is dangerous and even with 4WD we could barely get up the hill. Two cars ended up in ditches and vacations were ruined because they couldn’t leave the cabin. The host would only communicate through VRBO but there was no WIFI. 「There were some cobwebs in the bedrooms, otherwise the house was clean. The location of the property was very handy and the house is comfortable. We spent 5 days at this property and it was perfect for a large group. The only thing negative I will say is that the firepit was 10 rocks in a circle on the side of the road in front of the house. Not really usable. We had a great trip as always, and appreciate the hospitality.」
