Great experience
We had an amazing stay at this property. There was an issue early on with the HVAC system and Bard acted swiftly moving us into a neighboring unit. Super responsive! I judge a property by what happens when things go wrong. In this case 5 stars doesn’t seem like enough. I’d stay here again in a minute.

Gorgeous place to stay with amazing lake views
Our family of four greatly enjoyed our time spent in this beautiful, spacious, clean, well-stocked condo right on Lake Superior. We were greeted with amazing views of the lake upon waking in the morning and throughout the day. We enjoyed grilling on the deck in the evening and eating in the dining room overlooking the lake. The location is very close to several parks and other things to do, which was perfect for us. We could not have asked for a better experience! Barb provided everything we could have wanted during our stay and communication was thorough and clear. Would highly recommend!

Lake Superior did not disappoint
Stayed two nights on our exploration of Duluth to Grand Marais, was perfect location half way up. Barb was a terrific host and place had the most perfect view and very nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable.

Beautiful property and perfect location for our family's vacation! Near split rock, Gooseberry, Palisade Head and the Black beach. An easy drive to Grand Marais! Very comfortable furnishing and set up so we could all have a comfortable place to sleep! Would love to go back some day!

Barb the owner was fabulous from the very start, suggesting restaurants and others points of interest. The townhouse was very clean and they supplied all that you could EVER need. The view was to die for. Locations to all the lighthouses, waterfalls, and even Duluth was great. Our group of 6 was very highly satisfied.

Fabulous North Shore Retreat
We cannot say enough about the location, it's perfect! It is about half way up the north shore, with easy access to the Gitchi Gami State trail for biking, Grand Marais, and all the other small towns along the way. The grounds are well maintained while still immersing you in the beauty of the north shore natural landscape. There is easy walking access to Cove Point (EXCELLENT restaurant and gift shop). The townhouse itself is absolutely beautiful, well kept and the host has thought of EVERYTHING you might need. We especially enjoyed the deck that provided a sweeping view of Lake Superior. It was an added bonus to have a washer and dryer in the townhouse. Our family thoroughly enjoyed everything about 607 Windsong! The owners were more than accommodating with our every need and were just a text or phone call away at all times! We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a fabulous place to stay on the north shore!

An amazing experience with a very attentive host!
Barb was an amazing host who was very attentive and full of tips and suggestions to maximize our experience on the north shore. The condo itself sits in the shore of Lake Superior and is one of the best vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in. The layout of the condo is built with intention! There are bathrooms for all 3 bedrooms, the beds were super comfy, and all the conveniences you’d expect at home were readily available. The condo is filled with her husband’s extraordinary photography which makes it all the more wonderful! Will absolutely be staying there again! Thank you for the amazing experience barb!

We brought a small group of guides from our homeschool collaborative for a relaxing and restful weekend getaway from the twin cities. The property was beautiful, with so many thoughtful touches. View was unbelievable!

Wonderful place for small family get together
The property was very clean, charming and comfortable with a gorgeous view of Lake Superior. Our host kept us well informed before and during our stay and had a book full of valuable restaurant and hiking trail reviews. The unit had everything we needed for meal preparation and was well stocked with everything. They didn’t miss anything for a comfortable stay. The kids loved the pool, of course. We would highly recommend renting from Barb and Bob!

We have stayed at this property twice and have loved it both times. The area is quiet and beautiful. Barb is such a kind person, giving us ideas of things to do in the area and making sure we are settled in. She let us know that the northern lights would be visible near by and gave us directions to where we could see them! We look forward to staying here in the future!

50th Birthday Celebration
Great place to stay. Perfect location between Duluth and Grand Marais. This place was warm and cozy, the hosts were attentive and made sure we had everything. Barb hospitality was magnificent. The beds were comfortable and we were able to hear the waves crashing from the master suite. It was the perfect place to turn 50 and make lasting memories. Thank Barb and Doug.

Exceptional VRBO rental...If looking for North Shore Lodging, look no further! This place exceeds the description. Fabulous views, very, very comfortable (higher end) furniture, kitchen very well stocked and planned out for everything you would need. Owner also provides all the little essential as well, which is so convenient so you do not need to bring all the extras you may need. The home is decorated nicely with a lodge vibe feel that was so comfortable and cozy. The cleanliness of this place was impeccable. No shortcuts, high attention to detail with everything in this home. The information book that the owners have put together was a great resource and much appreciated. Barb, the owner, was in direct communication and provided all the information needed about the home ahead of time, which was very helpful. Definitely one of the best experiences with a VRBO host we have ever had, honest and kind. Our group of 4 left rested, renewed and with grateful hearts, knowing we will be back again sometime. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with others. We had a wonderful stay!

The best VRBO we have ever rented. We had the most relaxing time in your beautiful, luxurious and fully equipped condo in Beaver Bay, overlooking Lake Superior. The views are breathtaking and spectacular especially during early morning sunrise and evening sunset simply unbeatable. comfortable beds, and fully equipped kitchen with all the spices and high-quality appliances. We were very impressed by Barb’s detail travel tip booklet. It highlighted all the attractions including restaurants and Hikes based on Barb’s own experience. The owner, Barb and Bob, were very communicative, helpful, and responded to questions quickly beyond our expectations. We highly recommend experiencing a wonderful time away at Barb and Bob’s home. Everything was perfect. Great location! This property made us feel so welcoming and hope in future we get another opportunity to come and stay here

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was beautiful with an amazing view. We had three couples in our party and each couple had their own bedroom and private bathroom (if you dedicate the lower bathroom to the lower bedroom) The condo was WELL stocked, with items I didn't even know I needed. We enjoyed the entire trip and would love to return one day.

Fabulous accommodation with incredible views.
We had a wonderful two night stay in this luxurious yet homely house. The position is glorious and we’re blessed with sunshine. The house is comfortably and thoughtfully furnished, and equipped with just about everything you could need or want. The standard of furnishings surpassed anywhere we had stayed previously. The seating was of excellent quality and comfort, as were the beds. Past experiences have often shown that seating can be a bit of a hotch pitch, or an afterthought. There was no down side at all to the accommodation or setting. It was perfect. We had a problem finding eating places in the area as many were closed for the first part of the week, or had gone out of business, probably post covid. In addition, information regarding local restaurants is not being kept up to date on Google, so cannot be relied upon. Best to call restaurants direct. That said, we had a lovely two days and commend the owners for their beautiful home, attention to detail and welcoming attitude to guests. Thank you.

Spectacular view with comforts of home.
Barb and Bob thought of everything to make our stay memorable. From an abundance of coffee and hot chocolate, perfect cookware for pancakes, a sparkling clean Weber on the deck, a cabinet full of games, and comfy cozy beds after our days of exploratory hikes. We can’t wait to book again next year.
