“We enjoyed our stay, we did have to clean the hot tub, it didnt have any clorine and the water was green with algae. There was no laundry soap and bleach. The house was nice, it was big. The kiddos loved the gaming room, pacman was fun. They also enjoyed ping pong. The toilet in the master bedroom was hard to flush. I also had to clean under the oven in the warming rack. There was a lot of crumbs. Just minor cleaning things, other then that we enjoyed the house. We appreciated the close access……

“This functional home is sitting up on the hillside with a private set of stairs placing you right onto the sandy beach. We enjoyed the most beautiful views and sunsets!”

“We took my mother-in-law to the beach for a few days, and this house was perfect!! There is a bedroom and both bathrooms on the first floor, so she didn't have to use the stairs. The view from the front windows is absolutely amazing, and she LOVED sitting in the chair there and watching the waves! The beach is just a short walk away. The kitchen was very nice and had everything we needed. It was also nice having the washer and dryer to dry our wet clothes after getting caught by a wave. The gas……

“The views from this house are stunning. Especially on the top floor. Stairs from bottom level to second floor are very steep and unsafe for people who have issues with mobility. There was plenty of room for our party of seven.”

“This was our first time at the Swell House, but second time with Kiwanda properties. Communication with the host was great. The unit was very clean, awesome location, and we all had a fun time. My only gripes are the kitchen ware is subpar. This goes for all VRBO stays and other rentals we’ve done. All kitchens are set up with the “bare minimum.” I understand most people go out to eat on vacations, but janky cookware and lack of basics such as salt and pepper get old. “We have used this house for many years for our annual family reunion. 2024 was our first year back after COVID interrupted our plans and it felt like coming home to be back in the Neskowin house. We love having enough bedrooms and bathrooms to make everyone comfortable. We love having a kitchen big enough and well-equipped enough to make meals for a crowd. “This house is in a remarkable location. We had a few perfectly clear sunsets we could enjoy simply standing on the balcony. The beach is also just about 25 years away. There were 12 of us and had plenty of space and we had a really wonderful time. That said, I will always try to avoid staying in Vacasa managed homes. It was a great deal for the price but I'm not sure I'd choose to go back. I wouldn't describe it as clean or cozy but great for a long weekend on the coast.”
